DECEMBER

This month, the whole country shut down properly with loads of people going on strike every day of the month, including postal worker, train operators/drivers, airport personnel, NHS nurses and ambulance drivers, barristers (the ones that wear wigs in a Court room) and others.  On top of that, Andrea came down with the lurgy just before Christmas (not Covid!) so we didn't even leave the house to see her parents!!!  So we didn't get any days out at all in December.

But we've had a piggin' busy year though and completely stuffed our faces with some cracking food!!!

What we did on Christmas!

Well Andrea's still getting over the lurgy so we had a quieter Christmas today than usual...... we started off with opening a couple of presents while our kwussants were warming up in the oven

We got sent this book.....

...and this book!!

Then we had hot kwussants with butter on it, with our coffee!!!

The lady that sent us the books also sent us these!

More tea and some lip balm for Andrea!!!  We've been drinking tea up to our ears for WEEKS now!

Then we opened this one from Diane.  You can tell it's from Diane because it has wols on the wrapping paper

It's a Masterchef apron!!!!  Hope Andrea's not expecting a trophy after dinner every night......!!

Then we opened up the last prezzie from Carolynn, Andrew and Jake the dog from down the road.
What's in here then???

OOOOoooooo, crackers.......

Soap.  That'll be Andrea's, us lot don't do barths.

CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!

WE GOT CHEESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HURRAAYYYY!!!

OOOOOOoooooooo caramelised onion chutney...... interesting.....

CHOCOLATE!!  That's always a winner!!
We spent the rest of the day watching telly in our jammies and checking out the prezzies properly....

And then later on in the afternoon, we got hungry so we ended up with a ginormous dinner of scottish salmon with crab and lemon.  Andrea says if we can't finish it today, we can probably chill it in the fridge and flake it into a salad tomorrow, or even sammidges, for lunch.
We still ate a lot of it though.....!!

Later on, Andrea got out the chocolate advent calendar...... we though she was just being weird, but nope.  There's a Door 25 in it.  A Big Door 25.

It's got a chocolate pull-bang cracker in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HURRAAAYYYY!!!!

So we pulled it, and then we ate it!!!  Hahahaaaa!!!

Happy Christmas!
