Today the Queen was having a knees up in London, called the Trooping of the Colour. We watched it on the telly!
That's the warm up act, marching down The Mall trying to get people excited.
That's Seamus the mascot dog. Everyone came to see him. Not the marching band, just Seamus the dog.
There's some more marching bands and people on horseback waiting to set off.
Here's the Royal Family setting off from Buckingham Palace!! See that brown horse by the arch, facing left? He's supposed to be at the front with that other brown horse coming out of the gates in front of the carriage. The brown horse by the arch got the wobbles and didn't want to go!!! The rider got him to change his mind eventually though, but it took a while!!!!!
There's Camilla (in blue) with Catherine (in white) with Charlotte, Louis and George!!
Louis (in the middle) looks a bit non-plussed. Not too sure if he was enjoying it....!
There's Prince Charles on horseback followed by Price William and Princess Anne. They're going to Troop the Colour instead of the Queen, because the Queen's staying in the Palace watching it on telly like us. She's sensible.
OOOooooo!!!
Oh those are the whopping big Shire horses with Big Bass Drums on!!!
Boshidy boshidy boom de boom.
They're very good at this marchy up and down stuff!!!
LET'S JOIN IN!!!
More marching up and down!!
They're all setting off back to the Palace now!!
Going back down the Mall again!
There's George, Louis and Charlotte again!!!
We waved back and shouted "Hello" at them!!
There's the big Shire horses again!! We like them!
Oh here we go!!! Queen's coming out on the balcony again for the Airplane fly by!
And they're letting the public walk down the Mall to the Palace!!!
THERE'S LOADS OF THEM!!!
Wow!! There's PROPER loads of them!!!
There's Prince Charles coming out....
There's William and Kate with their children!
Oh look at that! They made a "70" with the airplanes!!!
IT'S THE RED ARROWS!!!
OH WOW!!!!!
BYE!!!! Oh that was amazing! What fun!
We all sat down for a cuppa tea and a scone after that!
The scone was proper yummy!!
Hoorah!!!! You're smart... betcha you wouldn't get scone with cream in London today... way toooooo busy!!
ReplyDeleteWatching it on the tv probably was the most sensible thing to do.
