We got mail...... ages ago!!!

I got a postcard AGES AND AGES ago, and Andrea has only just decided to blog it!!

It's from the Rockies which is in Canada.

It's from Cocoa and Navy Beanies!!  They went on a cheese eating adventure but they've run out of money now.

Apparently they've gone to visit Little Fox now and they're drinking him out of house and home.  Or Navy Beanie is anyway......!!

Cocoa's going back to Canada......!

We recently found out that Navy Beanie has been rescued by Sandy!!  Cocoa got very emotional because he though Navy had drownded in the tsunami but he hasn't!!!

So Cocoa's going back to Canada to see him again!!!  We helped him pack up with his passport, a knitted jumper for Navy and some snacks for the journey and had a group hug!!

We walked him to the door reminiscing about all the fun trips we'd had with him!

And the arcade game fun!!

And all the posh meals we'd had....!

And then waved him goodbye!!

"I know where the plane is and checked the departure times.... I won't miss the plane!"

"But we'll miss you thought!"

"I know" said Cocoa "And I'll miss you guys..... but I can always come back again next summer!"

WAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Cocoa the Pirate's First Adventure!!!

Hallo!  Cocoa Beanie here!  Beanie's taking me on my first ever adventure!!!

Where are we going?

Hang on - those are dinosaurs!!!  They're scary!!!

Beanie says a real adventure is always a bit scary but not to worry too much.

Jurassic Beach??  There's another dinosaur over that sign!!!

Keep out??  Oh, OK!!!

Instead we came into a thing called Arcade with some 2p shuffle games.  Beanie showed me how it worked - and I won a prize!!!!!

And then we got another prize!!!

And then two more prizes!!!! Oh wow!!  We're good at this game!!!

Look at that!  Two keychains, a lollypop and a bag of jewels!!!

And THEN we won another lollypop and a pack of swizzles sweeties!!

Oh wow!!

Since we couldn't carry much more (we're only little mice you know) we decided to hitch a ride on this pirate shop to get past those horrendous dinosaurs!

We loaded up our stash carefully - don't want to drop anything.

This pirate ship has a black piggie as a figurehead!!!

These must be the black piggie pirates then!!!!

Then we ran past the dinosaurs......

And got home safely!  Oh what fun!

Beanie says we've got somewhere special to stash our pirate winnings.

Oh wow..... what a fun first adventure!!  I like being a pirate.

A Surprise visitor!!!

This morning, we suddenly heard a loud banging at the front door!!!  What's going on?

When we opened the door, we saw a small mouse! "I'm Cocoa.  Have I arrived at the right place for the Beanie's?"

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We heard you were on your way!!!

Come on it!!!  You must be exhaustipated after all that travelling!!!

Come on in...... it's this way.

We've got comfy chairs and bis kwits.....

Ah, you brought your passport and drinks!  Excellent!

First of all you need an arrivals stamp in your passport.

This one is of the Brighton Pavillion.  We'll take you there for a visit - it's amazing!!

Then we need to have a drink. You must be thirsty by now..... OK hot chocolate is always good.

OK, read the instructions.....OK..... easy peasy.

Pour the contents into the Mouse Mug and put the kettle on.

We'll have this with Tesco shortbread.  We don't have any Fortnums bis kwits at the moment (that's a whole expedition on its' own!) but shortbread is still good for dunking.  

Tuck in Cocoa, and then we can discuss expeditions.....!!

Letter from Sandy and Cocoa Beanie

We got a letter from Sandy Bear and Cocoa Beanie today!!!

We know it's from them because it has a Sandy sticker on the back!!!!

Ooooo that's a pretty card!

Oh!!  It's from the V&A in London!!!!  Wonder how it got all the way to Canada in the first place??

There was a long message from the Canadian crew.  Sandy's gone on vacation to see Jerry and Ben and left Cocoa Beanie behind..... which isn't very nice.  I mean, who likes being left behind??  Anyway, Cocoa says he'd like to come and visit and I think that's an awfully good idea.  So long as he remembers his passport and brings some Scooby snax with him, he should be OK.....

Sandy & Cocoa Mail!!!

We've had some mail recently!!!  This one arrived on Saturday with a Canadian stamp on it!!

It had a St Patricks day card in it with a long message from Sandy & Cocoa!!

But it had a cat on the front instead of a mouse....... hmphff!!

We also got a Do Not Bend envelope today!!!

This one had a card in it but I didn't recognise the handwriting.....

But it's our prize for the art deco contest!!!  It's a sticker of a mouse reading a book!!!

I'm going to put that on our bookcase!!!
