And then came home!

                                                                                      Today we got up early because we've got more travelling to do!

But first we came down for breakfast!  We had the continental variety today with kwussants, panno shoko lah, toast wiv butter and jam and some coffee.

Then we went back to our room and packed our stuff up and checked out.  I got another rubber stamp in my passport too!

Then we went off to the bus stop just outside the hostel where we got off yesterday!

And we got another C10 bus!

And we're off!!

And we got off at the last stop, Canada Water!  We came here wiv Bob and Sam once!!  That was fun!!

Now, we're getting the Tube now!!!

We're going this way?

And got off here!!  We had to change trains and get the Central Line.

And we got off here!!  Then we met Andrea's friend Phil and walked up to where we were going.

Here!!

We're at another Shamanic drumming do!!

And there's a sacred buffalo skin today.  Apparently we're all getting a "buffalo hug" later on"

After a long day doing that, we walked back to the underground station and came here, and then changed to the Victoria Line.....

And got to Victoria Station JUST IN TIME for our train home!  We had three minutes to spare AND we got a window seat!  The train was rammed!!

There's Battersea Power Station!  And it's just started raining!

We're crossing the Thames again

We both had a bit of a snooze and we got off at Hove train station!!

And then we had to run home in the rain!

What a fun weekend!!!

We're in London!

 

This morning we got up early and set off up the road.....

and met a Fox on the way!!

We stood still and said hello and he came right up to us for a chat!  He was lovely!!

Then we got a bus into town and got off here....

And then walked up to the train station!  We're going somewhere!!

There was a train waiting for us so we got on.

And we're off!!

We're going past Millwall football stadium here.

And we got off at London Bridge and used the facilities.

We left them a CD too!!

And then we had to go and get a bus!

Ooo it's over there I think...

AHA!  Yes, this is the stop!!

It's a bit fuggy today though

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the 381!

We gave them a floppy disc

And we're off....

There's Tower Bridge down there!!!

We went past the Youth Hostel!!  We've stayed there, years ago!

We got off at the last stop.....

At Canada Water!!  We're meeting some people to do a long bus ride!

On the number 1 bus!!  We're going on a day out!!

We all piled upstairs to the top of the bus and headed off!

Never ridden this bus before, it'll be interesting to see where it goes!

Oooo they've got a little mosaic thing on the floor there!

We're going past Waterloo Station

And crossing the Thames!

We're in Central London now....

And now we're in Camden!

And the windows are getting fugged up!!!

Oh, we're at Camden Lock now.

And Camden Market!

Ooo, interesting!

We got off at the last stop and then we came here for lunch!

We got a fizzy drink.....

And soft shelled crab for lunch!  YUM!

After lunch, a couple of people went back on a different bus and me and another lady got the number 1 bus back.  Here's the stop....

HURRAY!  Didn't have to wait long!

And we're off!!

We saw lots of graffiti!

Back in central London again, now!

And crossing the Thames again!!  Weather hasn't improved.....

But the buildings still look posh!!

And there's the Old Vic theatre!

And going through Elephant and Castle again!

And we spotted a funny sculpture!

And here we are back at Canada Water!!  We said goodbye to our new friend.....

and then went to get another bus!  Are we going home now?

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  It's the C10!!

We gave them a CD!

and we're off!

Oh hang on!  We got off at the youth hostel!!  What, are we staying overnight??!!?

HURRAH!!  We got our own room!!

Oh this'll do!!

We got a bit of a view as well!

Not so much from that window though!!

We went out for a bit of a walk and left another CD here.

And found a bulldog!!

Oh, I remember that mosaic!  Love that!

And a good view of the Thames too.

It's been ages since we've been here......

We went back to the hostel for a rest and then later on, came out for dinner.

We found another murial.....

I remember this too!

It's near here!

And that church has a memorial for the Mayflower boat.  Apparently the captain lived around here.

And that blue plark is about bodysnatching for Guy's Hospital!!!

And then we came here!

Simplicity restaurant!  I REMEMBER THIS PLACE!!!  

We came for dinner - and we got a glass of wine!  Oh yum!

After we put our food order in, we got some freshly cooked (and still hot!) potato crisps (chips) to nibble on.  They were proper yummy!!

Then we got pan fried seabream and smoked salmon on a pea risotto with fried tomatoes and grated parmesan cheese - and it was FANTABULOUS!!!

AND we got a pudding!!!  He asked us if we still wanted the chocolate mousse cayke wiv chantilly cream - ARE YOU KIDDING ME??  You don't seriously think a mouse is going to turn down CHOCOLATE do you????!!!!

After dinner, we staggered back to the hostel...

And went back to our room.  We can see the Shard from here!

And then went to bed completely exhaustipated!
