Royal Academy, processions and buses.


We got up early this morning, because we're going on an expedition!!!

We got to the bus stop in time to get our bus.....

To the train station!!  Huzzah!

Then we got a window seat on our train!!

And we're off!!!

Ooooo is that Battersea Power Station over there??!

We're crossing the Thames!!!

Right ho, Jeeves, what bus are we getting??

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  We're getting the 38 bus!!

We gave them a floppy disc!

Where are we going now, then?

Ooo we're going past Hyde Park Corner now!!

Oh that's pretty....

And we got off here near Burlington Arcade!!!

Ooooo!

Ooooo!!

We're going to see the Royal Academy Summer Expedition!!!  Oh what fun!

What the heck is THAT???

Odd ....

Very odd indeed.....

We went in and took gazillions of photos.  These are the highlights.






WE'RE AN EXHIBIT PIECE!!!


That's made on the inside of a playing card box!!

And those are airmail envelopes doodled on the inside!!

Torture device???







After we had a good look round, we visited the gift shop (we'll show you later) and then used the facilities.  We gave them a CD and then washed our paws carefully.

Then we went to the cafe for a snak.  We had a fizzy drink, an eggy mayo cress in a brioche bap and a choccie brownie.  We scarfed the lot.

And then we went off for another expedition!

And then went and had a look down Burlington Arcade.

House of Q?  The Q Continuum has a house in London?  Uh-oh


Then we went over the road to get a bus somewhere.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  We got the number 9!!

They got a floppy disc too

We got off at Constitution Hill and there was a big parade coming down this end of Piccadilly!!!

We saw lots of ladies wearing saris dashing over to watch....

It's the Ratha Yatra procession which is a Hindu celebration!

Oh wow!!!  What a treat to see a bit of that!!

then we went past a big lion

to our next bus stop!

Oh hang on!!!!  Closed???!

Wait a minute though....

There's a temporary stop here we can use!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  It's the 148!

This bus was mega busy..... we managed to leave a floppy disc on the rail though.

We're going along the top edge of Hyde Park here.

They have an art expedition on too!!

That's posh...

We got off here at Notting Hill Gate 

And walked past this mosaic to the next bus stop

Here!!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!! It's the 328!!

They got a floppy disc as well!

And we're off!

Ooo i recognise that!  We're at High Street Kensington!!

And then we got off here!

And we're getting the next bus from the same stop!!

We had time to leave another god card here

and a CD here!!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  The C1 bus arrived!!!

They got a floppy disc too!!

And we're off!!

That's Earls Court Station!

Oh I know where we are!!!  This is South Kensington!!

Posh...

There's Horrids!

Big innit?!!

Those apartments are horrendously expensive....



And then we got off at the very last stop and left a CD on the railing here!!

Oh hang on!!!

A teapot!!!



Oh there's an art trail on!!!

We left another CD here....

And then it was time to go home!!

We did a spot of shopping at the Lush shop (we'll show you later) and then got another window seat on the train!!

And we're off!!



And here we are back home!!

Not too long for the bus....

We got off here and walked back home.
