Dylan the dog. (sad news)

This is Dylan the Staffie terrier.

He lived a few doors away from me and I'd bump into him occasionally when he was out on a walk - well more like I'd be literally bowled over and slobbered on.  

Bumped into his "dad" a little earlier - Dylan had to be put to sleep last week.  He'd had cancer - tumours treated with whatever it's treated with that they thought worked but the cancer came back into his spine.  Last saw Dylan on 5th December and he was ill, kept yelping in pain so I made a big fuss over him.  But he went downhill quickly, couldn't use his back legs at all, horrid pain.  So they let him go last week.  He'd just turned 10.

Going to miss him.

 

We all went out for dinner!

Tonight we took String Beanie out to cheer him up after having a B-A-R-T-H.  (Although it's nice that he's cleaner and not stinky any more)

We saw lots of Christmas decorations up in town!  They were very pretty!

We walked along to this place, La Choza which does Mexican street food!

Arnty Bev and Arnty Vicky were already there and they gave us a present!!!  It looks just like String Beanie!!!!

A few minutes later, Arnty Hev arrived and we all got more presents!!!!!  AND we were allowed to open them straight away!!!

WE GOT A BOX!!! 

What?  There's more???!

IT'S A MUG WIV HOT CHOCOLATE TO GO WIV IT!!!

HURRAAAAAAAAYYYYY!!

Andrea ordered a drink for us all.  It's a Mocha Margarita - that's alcohol with chocolate coffee in it.

It was proper yumtastic!!!

For dinner we got this - it's a Burrito with chicken in it.

AND it tasted yummers!!

For pudding we got some of these things with a caramel sorce.

We liked the caramel sorce!!!

After a brilliant evening with lots of eating it was time to go home...

So we all said ta-ra to each other!

When we got off the bus on the way home, we met Dylan coming out for a walk!!!

He was SOOOOOOO excited to see us!  He went proper mental, he did!

He's a brill dog!!!

We went to a Birthday Party!!!

Today, we went outside to wait for a friend in a car and my mate Dylan T Dog spotted us from his window and go SOOO excited, that he just HAD to bring his owner downstairs to see me!!!  We had a good long chat while I was waiting for Heather (who was late!)  Anyway, we managed to get him to stay still just about long enough for a photo - that was the first attempt at sitting.

And that was the second attempt!!!  Dylan - meet the world!

Then when Heather arrived, we drove into Brighton to meet Vicky who had her birthday this weekend!

She got presents!

That one was her favourite!!!  It's a bottle of antifreeze.  Well, it says it's violet gin on the label, but Andrea says if you drink enough of it, you stop feeling cold so really, it's antifreeze.

Makes sense to me.....

(She also got two measuring spoons and two measuring glasses because she likes measuring stuff out when she's cooking)

Me and Jelly Beanie and Andrea gave her a gold sparkly wine glass...

....and a martini cocktail glass which she seemed very happy with!!!

She likes her prezzies!!!!  Hurray!!

Then we got lunch.  It was a Lamb Roast wiv beans, carrots, roast potatoes, brokli, yorkshire pudding, peas, some weird green things we didn't eat an loads of gravy.  It was proper yumtastic, and we won't need to eat again for about a week!!!!

Then we helped Vicky carry her prezzies back to her house and stopped for a cuppa tea.  We said hello to Prince T Dog

And that's Max T Dog wearing some wrapping paper.  

He's a bit bonkers.
