United Squeaks of Rodentia Passport Office

Yesterday we got Navy Beanie's passport application.  As it was all in order, we're ready to process the passport!!

Right, so we printed "Passport" along the top.....

And then started drawing in the coat of paws.

And then finished off the printing along the bottom.

Now then, where are the paints....?

AHA!  Here we go!!

Because this is a Naval passport, we had to do Naval semaphore flags on the side of the coat of paws.  

The semaphore says "Bugger off, we're going on holiday".

Rubber stamps inside - SORTED!!!!

We can get this mailed back next week!!

Sandy Bear Mail......!

We've had a ton of mail from Sandy Bear lately and we haven't blogged any of it!!!

The first one was a birthday card which actually arrived on time!  Well, a day late, but that counts as on time!!!

Apparently Navy is confused about when his own birthday is.  Well, most of us don't remember exactly when the date is and I can never remember how old I'm supposed to be, but us mice over here go with the date that Andrea found us.  Apart from me.... I think we decided my birthday as the day I had my very first Laduree cayke.  See, that would work too!!!

Then we got a halloween card!  You can tell it's a halloween card because it's an orange envelope.  Although that could also mean it's for Tango Bear because he's orange too.....

Oh, what's this?  Macron instead of Macaron??

Eh?

OOoo it's a fuzzy relative!!

AH!!  Mischief or Mac(a)ron!!!  I get it now!!!

I think some places do trick or treating over here maybe (although the weather's been atrocious this week, so probably not so much this year!!  But I do think it's mainly an Americanism

And this one came today!!!

OOOOOOOoooooo!  I think I know what this is!!!

Oooo they're going on a trip in December???  Well we better get a wiggle on then.....!!

He's filled it all in, so it just needs the cover and the official stamps on the photo!!

Right ho..... let's get the paints out then.....!

A Surprise visitor!!!

This morning, we suddenly heard a loud banging at the front door!!!  What's going on?

When we opened the door, we saw a small mouse! "I'm Cocoa.  Have I arrived at the right place for the Beanie's?"

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!  We heard you were on your way!!!

Come on it!!!  You must be exhaustipated after all that travelling!!!

Come on in...... it's this way.

We've got comfy chairs and bis kwits.....

Ah, you brought your passport and drinks!  Excellent!

First of all you need an arrivals stamp in your passport.

This one is of the Brighton Pavillion.  We'll take you there for a visit - it's amazing!!

Then we need to have a drink. You must be thirsty by now..... OK hot chocolate is always good.

OK, read the instructions.....OK..... easy peasy.

Pour the contents into the Mouse Mug and put the kettle on.

We'll have this with Tesco shortbread.  We don't have any Fortnums bis kwits at the moment (that's a whole expedition on its' own!) but shortbread is still good for dunking.  

Tuck in Cocoa, and then we can discuss expeditions.....!!

Kidney Beanie's new Passport!!!

I had to get my photo taken, the other day, says Kidney.....

I'm getting my passport made!!!!!

First, we made the front cover....

....with the coat of paws......

.....which we painted in, and also did the printing on the lower bit.

That's the cover done!!!

And then we just filled in the first page, put the picture in and I signed it!!

I'm good for travelling now!!!  How exciting!!!!

 

United Squeaks of Rodentia, Passport Office, Part Two

Right, well today we've got to prepare Cocoa Beanie's passport ready for use......

So first we stamped "passport" across the top.....

Then we drew the banner and the coat of squeaks.....

We wrote the Latin proverb in too!

Right ho, now we have to paint the coat of squeaks......

There we are!!!

Then we printed in the country name.... and just about squeaked the word "Squeaks" in!!

All we had to do then was put the official stamps on the front page ......

And viola!!!! All ready to go!!!

We got a letter in the mail today all the way from Canada!!!

It had a very pretty card in it!!

It's a message from Sandy Bear and Cocoa Beanie!  They were very pleased with the stash of stuff we sent for the geocaching and seriously happy with the knitted vest!!!

But now, Cocoa Beanie needs a very important document - his own passport!!!  

I checked the information provided and it all seemed present and correct...... so that means we can design the correct cover for it and then issue the correct rubber stamps to render the passport ready for use!!

Right...... we'd better get going then.....!
