Beanie and Tango's Big Trip, Day one

Today me and Tango were put in charge of packing!!!  Tango made a bit of a mess though, but he's not had to do this before!

Then we walked down the road to the bus stop!!!  Tango hasn't done this before either!!

We didn't have to wait long for the Coach either...... where are we going?!?!

Tango is super excited!!  He's never been on a coach before!!!

We tied a floppy disc to the seat....

....and left a bookcrossing book in the seat too!!

We made a video of the Royal Pavilion!

And then we got the jaffa cakes out!

YUMM!!!

Yumyumyum!

We had a stop in Banstead to let somebody off!

So where now?

We think this is London somewhere....

Oh!!  We're going over the Thames now!!

And we arrived at the coach station 20 minutes early!!!  Spectacular!!!

Then we had to go down this way.....

.....and made use of the facilities......

....and then went this way!!  I had to follow Andrea's directions very carefully.

Oh!  We've seen that from the bus!!

Ooooo!

Oh here we are!!!  Bill's restaurant!!!

Andrea's taking us for a meal!!!

We got a big pot of tea.....

And then we got a big fry-up breakfast!!  Excellent!

After that, we had a bit of a wander and found a ballerina!

And then found a war memorial and left some poppies on it!

Coo, that looks nice there!

They have windchimes on the bottom so they go clinkety clink in the breeze!

And then we stopped to see Andrea's favourite sculpture!!!

It's brill!

Then we went back to the train station because we're travelling somewhere else!!!

So we got on a train next!!!

WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH THAT CAMERA???

Neither of us have been this way before!!

We gave them a CD!

Oooo there's another river!

Over another river.....

We're at Chatham!

We had a short walk from the station, past Manor Road

...to the St George Hotel!!!

And that bottom sign says Dragon!!

We checked in and we got room 109!!  Look at that view!!

It's BRILLIANT!!!

After we unpacked, we decided to have a stroll to check out the area.  We went downhill into Chatham, and checked out the tumbleweed.  Chatham is closed today.

So we went the other way towards Rochester.  That sign says Crystal Palace!  It doesn't look like a palace.....

OH WOW!!!

It's a gate with flying piggies on it!!!

Oh wow!!!

What fun!!!

We're in Rochester High Street now - looks a lot more interesting!!!

On wow!!!

Oh gosh.....

OH!!!  Gosh, this is an interesting place!

Museum huh??

Lots of interesting shopping too!!!

That's the cathedral!

And there's the castle!!!

We had a bit of a sit down and left a book on the seat!

There's a Knight with a big sword!

And a green pillar box!!!

We then decided to walk back to the hotel and left a CD on the way.

Oh!  I wonder why there isn't a house there.....?

After a rest, we were proper hungry - luckily they do food at the bar so we went down and had a small beer......

and a HUGE portion of fish and chips!!!!!!  YUMMY!!!

What a brilliant day......!

.....we're completely exhaustipated!!!!!
