Out for Lunch

 

Today we set off for an outing to find the road was partially flooded!!

Bleugh, it's raining.....!

We raced up to the bus stop...

And ended up at the train station!!

We didn't have to wait long for the train which was good!

And we tied a CD to the seat in front!

And we're off!!

......still raining.....

Oooo there's Battersea Power Station over there!!!

We're crossing the Thames!!!

When we arrived at the station, we used the facilities and left them a floppy disc.  Then we washed our paws carefully.

Then we set off to find our bus!!

Aha!  It's this bus stop round the corner!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 11 bus!

We tied a CD on the rail.

OH!!! LOOK!!!  There's a long bicycle with lots of animals riding it!!!

That's Chelsea Town Hall.....

And we got off here.

Opposite the Bluebird building!

We spotted another sculpture on the way here so we walked back to have a look.

It's a hippa and rabbit having tea!

See?  Mug of tea!

And sandwiches and cayke and pears.....

I bet he can eat a lot!!!

We also stopped inside this shop which was really interesting.  It had lots of turquoise jewellery with no prices on them, and crystals and tarot cards and tie-dye shirts.

A bit further down the road we found another sculpture!  A zebra on a Vespa!!!

Oh what fun!

Then we found the restaurant we're having lunch at!  More people were going to come, we were expecting 8 but only 2 more arrived later.  They were nice though!

We had a glass of wine while we waited....

And then had salmon on nan bread with a salad and it was YUMMY!

Two hours later, we decided it was home time!!!  And it stopped raining for us!  We all said goodbye and went to the bus stop

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 22!

They got a CD as well

We went past this murial

And spotted another animal sculpture!!!

We got off here....

And then got the number 19!!

We went past Green Park

And got off here

At Fortnum and Masons!!!  Hurrah!

You can see those thingies move

And inside, those birds bounce up and down!

We did some shopping (we'll show you later) and then went to get the bus back to the station

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  It's the number 38!!

We gave this bus a floppy disc.

That roof has a fancy thingie on top.....

And here we are back at the station!

We had to use the facilities again and gave them a CD.  And then washed our paws carefully.

Didn't have to wait long for this train either....

And we're off!!

And we crossed the Thames.

....nearly home!

And we got off here and just had to walk home!

We got some coffee from Fortnums....

And a bubble bar for Andrea.  She's strange like that.

But she bought me lunch so I don't complain.....
