We got up really early today which is weird for a Sunday..... and it's raining too. Phooey.
We went up to the bus stop..... oh, are we doing something today?
Oooo yeah!!! We got a bus and left them a CD!!
And got off at the train station!! Huzzah!!
They got a floppy disc!
And we're off!!!
I think that's Millwall football stadium over there.....
There's the Shard over there!! Can you see?!
See?! Told you!
We're going over Borough Market here.....
And we got off at Blackfriars!!
We used the facilities quickly and left them a CD as well, and then washed our paws carefully.
Right ho, where are we going?
Which way.....??
Over here, we're going to get a bus!
Here's our stop!
BUS BINGO ALERT!!! We got the number 4 bus!!
they got a floppy disc!
And we got off at St Paul's Cathedral.....!! It's being noisy today!
Then we walked along to Paternoster Square.... hang on! What's that over there?
Oh!!! It's a baby tiger!!
Oh wow!!
And a baby tortoise too!!
Oh what fun!
And here's a Hippo-Pot-Armus
He's cute!
And a Nelly-fant as well!!
Oh we love these!
And a Grilla!!!!
This one's a Rhino-saurus....
He doesn't have his nose horn yet though, because he's still a baby.
And a giraffe too!
Oh this is brill!!
There's a big sign that explains about the statues.
This is great fun you know!!
Then it was time to get another bus, so we walked over here....
And found our stop!
BUS BINGO ALERT!!! It's the number 8!!
They got a floppy disc!
We went past the Museum of London
And saw St Pauls again!!
OOOOOoooo!!
This is near the Royal Exchange....
And we got off here just after Liverpool Street Station!
That's a weird statue.....
Then we had to walk somewhere that we've not been to before, which is always dodgy with Andrea in charge of navigating.
We found some more elephants though, these ones are at Spitalfields Market!!
But we're not going into the market today though....
There's another weird sculpture over there....
Oh!!! That's made out of beer bottle tops!!
And we went past an indoor food market.....
And ended up here!!
At Brick Lane in the east end!!!
Oh wow! He's a good chap to know...!
We had to walk down Brick Lane to find where we wanted to go to, and we found little broccoli trees!!
And a fox head too!
We left another CD here...
And there's more stuff on this wall too!!
Including this made out of mudlarking finds!! Oh what fun!
We left a floppy disc hanging on one of the hooks!
There's another broccoli tree there!!
And we found some grafitti too!
AHA! This is the place!!! It's a small cafe that we heard about!
Andrea ordered something and then we all found a table. There's a Cafe Art expedition of photos! They run a photo competition every year just for homeless people to enter, and the best photos go into a calendar which is sold similar to the Big Issue, where the sellers (homeless people) keep 50% of the sale price.
Oh fab!
A few minutes later, a waitress brought us a coffee and a hot pork and sage sossidge roll with salad with balsamic vinegar and it was yummy!!!
We had a good look round at the photos...
We like it here...
It's very interesting!
Then it was time to head off again and we met a doggie.
He was nice!!
CAYKE!!!
There's more grafitti down here
And we found a piggy!!
There's another sculpture here of a twisted piece of rope.
And more grafitti over there too
Aha.... i think this is our next bus stop!
We left another CD here while we waited for the bus
BUS BINGO ALERT!!! It's the number 205!!
They got a floppy disc!
And we're off! There's some more grafitti there but you can't really see it properly
Oooo!!
Jealous geese??? Oo-er!
Oh look at that!
We got off the bus here near Angel station.
Then crossed the road and left another floppy disc here.
(Ed's note: this has been claimed by somebody who's taking it back to Paris with them!!)
Then we walked up past Islington Green to here, Mem and Laz!!
It's lunchtime!! We got a fizzy drink
And Moules Mariniere with fries!! And we practically inhaled the whole thing, we were that hungry!!
But not the shells though. Obvs.
Then we wandered back down to Islington Green and decorated the fence.
We like decorating the fence here.
And we said hello to Bob too.
And did some more decorating.
And over here too....
And then popped into Cass Art shop! (We'll show you later!)
We left a CD on their railing outside.
And then it was back up the road to the next bus stop.
BUS BINGO ALERT!! We got the number 73!!
We didn't leave them anything because we only had two items left and the string wasn't long enough to tie round the hand rail.
So we just sat and watched the world go by!!
And then finally got off here!
Outside St Pancras Station!!
It's time to go home!
What a day!!
We stopped in here first (we'll show you later!)
And then used the facilities. They got the last of today's CDs and then we washed our hands carefully!
And then it was down to the station - and our train arrives in four minutes!!!
Now THAT is handy!!
We left our last floppy disc between the seats in front....
And then arrived at Blackfriars Station where we started this morning!!
Ooo there's the Shard again!!
Going past Borough Market again....
And then through the countryside....
And you can just see the South Downs covered in cloud/fog!
And here we are back home!!
And there's a bus waiting for us too! Cracking!
And here's our stop....!
We got these from the art shop
And some posh tea and biskwits too!!
That was quite the expedition today.....
Excellent! I think I read this post days ago but... was on Mama's phone and I couldn't comment as "me" because it was her account. Ugh!! Hate it when that happens!
