We got up really early today because we're going somewhere!!!  Carolynn came too!

First of all we came up to the bus stop.....

And got a bus into town!  They got a floppy disc!!

AHA!!  Train station!!

We're going to London!!!

Love this bit!!!

OOOOooooo!!

There's Battersea Power Station over there - you can just about see the chimneys!!

We're crossing the Thames!  How exciting!!

Right ho..... time to get a bus......

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  It's the number 38

They got a CD!

And we're off!!!  That's our favourite sculpture there!!

And there's a Chinese Lion!!

That's Park Lane - very posh down there!

And we got off here!!!  We're going to see an expedition!!!

Oh!!!  There's a big sculpture in the Courtyard!!!

With a doggie!!

Oh wow!!!

There's frogs!!!

Lots of frogs!!!

Oh wow!!!

Oh wow!!!

That's really interesting!!

then we went into the Royal Academy - first of all we used the facilities and left them a CD.  Then washed our paws carefully.

And THEN we had to walk to the back of the building and go up here (except we cheated and used the lift!!)

And then went in here!!!

We're going to see this!!!

We took loads of pictures and these are some of them.... This one is by Vincent Van Gogh

And this one is by Seurat

And that's by Gauguin I think.....

And that's Toulouse Lautrec!!

So's that one... we're going to put all of them in a separate post.... it was a REALLY good expedition!

After that, we stopped in the gift shop and then came down here because we were starving hungry!
We got a Fentiman's fizzy drink...

And a cream cheese, cucumber and smoked salmon bagel.  Carolynn got the same thing!!  (but not this one because this one's ours)

We also  got a salted caramel chocolate brownie and IT WAS YUMTASTIC!!!

We spotted some fancy lamps on the way out.... they're really pretty!

Oh no, they're chandeliers!!

And then we're off for the next part of our adventure!!

We had to stop at Fortnums first...

We got shopping to do!!!

They got funny new window dressing which you can't really see properly because the glass is reflective!!

Oooo.... like the decorations!!

They got chocolate hens for Easter!  Only £250 each..... we'll pass....

Then it was over the road to get the next bus!

BUS BINGO ALERT!  It's the number 9!

They got a floppy disc!

We went past Piccadilly Circus

And past what we think looks like an art deco building!

Past Trafalgar Square!

That's Charing Cross Station!

And we got off at the very last stop at Aldwych!!

Now then, we have to cross the road to find the bus stop to go back the other way.....

There's Bush House..... used to be the International Radio place, in there!

AHA!!  Hang on!!  That's the bus stop we need there!!!

And here's the number 9 going the other way!!

We gave this bus a floppy disc!!

OH!! Look!  Behind that car!!
It's a red bull statue, can you see the head and horns?!!

And we found a piggy too!

Ooooo there's the Savoy!!

This is just past Trafalgar Square...

Ooo there's a Magnolia tree!  Pretty!!

We're down at Green Park now....

OOO!!  Royal Festival Hall!!

We're at High Street Kensington now!

This bus goes right across town!!

OH!!  Now hang on!  See that (smaller dark) bloo plark on the wall there?  On the left of the window??

Doesn't come out well on the photo but it says "Jack the Ripper" on it!!!!!!!!!!

We went past a posh red building too!

And that's Hammersmith Bus Station over there!!

Which is where we're getting off!!

Tada!!!  We have to wait at the same place to get the return bus.

Which is this one!!!

They got a floppy disc too!

And we're off back into the West End again!

There's another posh building!

Oh that's pretty!

That's the Design Museum at Holland Park!!

That's Gordon Ramsay's Street Burger place!  We've eaten there!!

We're at the other end of High Street Kensington now....

And that's the Prince Albert Memorial there!

There was a big protest about Iran here...

Ooooo

And we got off at Hyde Park Corner!!

That's Constitution Hill over there.

Carolynn spotted that the 52 bus stops over there, and the 52 goes to Victoria Station!

So we got it!!!  BUS BINGO ALERT everyone!!

They got a floppy disc as well!

And we're off!!

That's Park Lane up there, again!

And we got off at the last stop!!

We didn't have to wait long for our train, but it was proper busy.  Packed like sardines, it was!!
But we found somewhere to sit and leave a floppy disc!

And there's Battersea Power Station again!!

And we crossed over the Thames again!

And before you know it, we got back home!!!

And then it was the last bus of the day to get!

We said goodbye to Carolynn and then unloaded our purchases.  The chocolate and biscuits are for Andrea's Mum's birthday and the coffee is for us lot!

We got the expedition book - it was £10 cheaper than the normal price because the expedition finishes next weekend

And we got some postcards too.
What fun!!
