Today we had a lazy start to the day with coffee, hot kwussants and a glass of prosecco!!
Then we started opening prezzies!!! Dilly sent George a Nessie bookmark!!!
It's fab!!
We got these from Sir Woodstock! They're lovely!
We got this from Arnty Bev!
Who also send us some sea glass and shells! They're pretty!
We also got a Bookcrossing secret santa package!! We got a blank notebook, two bookcrossing books and two sachets of hot chocolate! It's brill!!
A bit later on, me and Andrea went for walk. The others stayed home to eat the chocolate and walnuts.
We found some pretty decorations on the way.....
including christmas trees
candy cane
Another tree
Silver dangly things!!!
We saw LOADS of trees!!!
Told you there was loads....!
Yep, there's another one!!
And another!!
And another!!
LOADS I tell you!!!
That one's more a sprig than a tree though
Although the deccies on it are more interesting.
We stopped to look at the list of activities at a nearby community centre. They have Celtic Medication once a month which Andrea says she's interested in.
We're at Palmeira Square now, about half way to where we're going.
We spotted a square manhole cover
That used to be Pickfords delivery company. But they've converted it into flats now.
That's a pretty cover thingy.....
Here's the entrance to St Anne's Wells Gardens! Almost there.
We've just got to go up here..
Past this seat with the roses on it.... and we ended up at Andrea's parents' flat where we stopped for lunch. After we all stuffed our faces, it was time to go home.
So we walked through the park again.
There's a squirrel on the gates by the entrance!!!
And we found some more trees!!
This one had pingpong tennis bats on it!!!
Ooo that's pretty!
So's that one!!!
And we're back!!! It's proper drizzly wet now, so I'm glad we're stopping home!!
We had a proper look at our presents! These are what Bob, Dilly and Arnty Helena sent us!!!
We got limpet shells.
pyro decorated something and some frankincense and a pink flower brooch!
Some blue and white stickers and antler slices.
And the Nessie book mark and a box of Walkers shortbread for Tango!!
Carolynn got us a snuggly wrap! It's lovely!!!
And Andrea got some drawing paper - this ones for pencil.
And this one's for pen and ink, and also a posh snazzy pen to go with it!!!
