A Christmassy London.....!

We got up super early today because we're going on a day out with Carolynn!

First stop was the bus stop!

WeeEEeEe lefFFFttT a CCddDd oOnnNn ThheEe RrrAaiLll.......

And we got off at the train station!!!

Minor disaster though - they cancelled the train we were going to get, to London Bridge!!  So we got on a different train but had to change at East Croydon to get another train to London Bridge.

We got a window seat!!

This is on the second train from East Croydon..... they got a CD too!

We saw the Shard in the distance there!

See?!

And we're here!!!

We made our way outside....

And found some mosaics

And street art!!

Just as we were coming to the bus stop, the 344 bus came along so we all ran to get on it!!!

So BUS BINGO ALERT!!!!

Then we went over the Thames!!!

They got a CD as well!!

We only went a few stops before we got off, and then we had a short stroll up the road looking at the Christmas Decorations!

They're very pretty....

And we're here!!!  It's Leadenhall Market!!

We've never been here before!!!

Oooooo!!

OOOoooo!!

OOOOOoooo!!!  Do you see the dragons there?

They got stars painted on the ceiling, too!

There's some pretty decorations here, you know.....

And a very odd building over there!!!

This shop had a very posh chandalier in it..... and very posh caykes too!!

Then we decided to wander up the road to Liverpool Street Station and catch another bus.

We did some christmas tree spotting on the way!!

There's loads of them down here....!

Now this shot's interesting.... a very old building with a tree in front of it with the Gherkin building to one side!!

Good innit?!

Told you there were loads of trees!!

LOADS of them!!

And this one's made of Kryptonite!!!!!

Isn't it brill?!!!

Aha!  Here we are - this is our stop!!

We were going to get the number 42 bus but apparently that one's on diversion.... sooo.....

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 78 bus!!!

We gave this bus a floppy disc!

There's that Kryptonite Christmas tree!!!

Ooo there's an interesting sculpture thing there!

OH!!  OH!!! Ibex House in the Minories!!!  

That looks like it's Art Deco!!!

And then we got off here!  Can you tell where we are??!

There's Tower Brigde on one side and Tower of London on the other side!!!

And the Shard in the distance!!!

We walked over in that direction and started leaving floppy discs on the way

We put one here too!!

Oh now that's an interesting view....

It's a Juxtaposition .....!!  Big word for a little mouse!!

We love it here!!

It's brilliant!

And we found another Christmas tree!!

And ANOTHER tree!!

We had a proper snoop around...!

And left another floppy disc here too!!

It's really good here....

And the weather's perfick!

We had a look round the Tower of London shop (we'll show you later) and then went off somewhere for lunch.

To Byward Kitchen!!

We're going in!!!

We used the facilities first and left a CD on the door and then washed our paws carefully.

And then went for lunch!  We got a fizzy drink

And then got a burger and fries!!

It was YUMMY!!!

After we all stuffed our faces, we decided to make a move.....

And headed off to this bus stop.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 15!!!

This bus was busy so we didn't leave a CD on the rail.

And we got off here at St Paul's!!

Then we had to wait at the same stop for another bus.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  It's the number 17!

They DID get a CD!!

Ooo there's some Christmas decorations over there!!!

Oh hang on!  Is that a Snowman statue there on the right?  Wonder if there's another trail on.....?

Oh I recognise that building!!  We've been up here before!!

And we got off here at Kings Cross Station!!

We went inside to try and find platform 9 and three quarters.

But we found the Harry Potter Christmas Tree instead!!

It's a big one.....

Then it was time to go home.....

We popped into Fortnums (we'll show you later!)

And then went to get our train.  We didn't have to wait long.

Goodie, we got a window seat!!

We came through Blackfriars Station - we love this bit!!

But after that, we didn't go towards London Bridge like we normally do!!!  So this is a different part of London we're going over!!!

We tied a CD to the rail....

And then watched the world go by!

We love this bit!!!

We're home!!!

There was a 15 minute wait at this bus stop but then another bus arrived at a different stop so we got that one instead.

And got off here!!!  Then we all scampered home and said goodbye to Carolynn!!

We got these pin badges from the Tower of London to use as bingo prizes

And we got a tin of bis kwits too!!

Oh what a fun day out!!
