Family Holiday, day one

We're going somewhere today!!!

First, we dragged our suitcase up to the bus stop....

And got a bus - we gave them a CD!

Ooo..... are we getting a train somewhere??

Yeh!!  We got a window seat on a train!!

They got a floppy disc!!

Love this bit...!

We're going to London!!!

There's the Shard!!

This bit of the ride is interesting.....

We're going through Blackfriars Station here!!  But we didn't get off.....

We got off here at St Pancras!!!

There's the clock!

We popped into Fortnums to get a couple of presents.  Who's getting presents then??

And then we came out onto the Euston Road!

We're going somewhere for lunch now

And left a couple of floppy discs on the way!!

We're eating here!!!  Hurrah!!

We got a fizzy drink.....

And a big fish and chips!!  YUM!!

We used teh facilities before we ran out on the bill, and left them a floppy disc too.

(we did pay though, really we did!!)

We spotted a pretty manhole cover too.

Then it was back to the main Euston Road....

And we're getting a bus!!!

HANG ON!!  That building there used to be a green triangle Youth Hostel hostel..... it's changed hands!!!  It looks like it's run by a completely different company!!

Oh hang on..... no it's OK, it's still a YHA hostel, it's just had a revamp and re-named as Kabanna's.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got a number 205 bus!!

We left a CD on the rail...

We're going past the clock tower there

Wonder where we're going now??

And we got off here at Liverpool Street Station!!!

We're getting another train!!!

Where are we going??

Oooooo!

That's the Olympic Stadium from 2012!

Wonder if it still gets used though?

And we got off here!!!  At Colchester!!!

We're going on holiday to Colchester!!!

We get a cab here and checked in

And got a posh room on the second floor!!

Then when we started unpacking - ALL THESE OTHER MICE GOT OUT as well as Tango and George!!!

Oh wow!!

This is a proper family holiday!!!

It's a good view from up here too!

Very pretty!

AND we got chocolate!!!

We went out for a wander round after, and found a friendly cat outside.

He kept sneaking into the hotel trying to get into the lift to go upstairs!!!

We left another floppy disc out...

Oh - information board!!  Coo...

Oh this is pretty....

Later on when we got hungry we went out for dinner - we chose this place which is a Turkish restaurant.

We got a grown up drink....

And we was given some flat bread with dips.  That was nommy!!

Then we got a chicken shish with rice and veggies - this was spectacular!!!

Then we had baklava with icecream!  That was nommy too!!!

Then we went back to hotel and went to bed because we were totally knackered!!!
