Announced at 6:30 pm UK time, Queen Elizabeth died peacefully this afternoon at home in Balmoral, with her children, and grandson Prince William in attendance.
Grandson Prince Harry was announced to be travelling to Scotland, not announced he had arrived.
At the age of 96, she was the longest reigning Monarch in UK history.
So sad. She was such a great lady and did her duty to the very end. But after 15 Prime Ministers, I think she could finally let go. RIP Lilibet.
