We had a special delivery box today!!! There's a big grocer's shop in Brighton called Taj and they recently started doing food boxes with free delivery with Brighton and Hove and one of the boxes they is a Fruit Box. Normally £17.95 but you get 15% off your first order. So we did!!!
It came today!!
What's in it?!?!?!?!
OH WOW!!! We got four banarnanas (bit green so they're warming up on the windowsill) an avocardo, three plums (yumm!!), bunch of grapes (they won't last!) two green granny smiff apples that I'm sitting on, two pink lady apples and two gala apples (we think)
And over there is a big orange, a little orangier orange, a big lemon (gin an tonics!!) and a lime!
We also got two of these but we have no idea what they are. Any ideas, folks?
We also got two of these, individually wrapped in plastic. No idea what these are either.
But we're proper pleased with this Big Fruit Box!!! We can snack on this stuff and not worry so much about putting weight on!!! (well almost!)
AND it was free delivery, too!
Andrea's having a gin an tonic now with a slice of lime in it.
I think she's happy....!!
I know you figured this out on FB already but... quince are furry... and more of a fall thing. Those plastic wrapped things are just weird!
ReplyDeleteActually those aren't quince!! I poached them and the insides are totally different to the insides of quince! I think they're quite guava...
