We found this in our money box today, mistook it for an English 1p coin
But it has a bird on the face side which means it isn't English.
Any ideas where it's from? We think it might be Canadian.
UPDATE: No it isn't. Google search we discovered it's a Guernsey penny
Well, we do have a bird on one side from the 1967 series but the back side (or front side) with those lions is def not Canada. Good sleuthing on it being Guernsey!
