An afternoon out.....

This afternoon, Andrea decided to finish work early and said we're going somewhere.

So we headed up to the bus stop

And got the bus here!

And we managed to get on a train straight away!!!

There's the Shard!!

Big, innit?!

Then we traveled over Borough Market.....

And through Blackfriars Station

And we got off here!

Where are we going?!

That's St Paul's Cathedral up there!

But we're getting a bus somewhere now

We stuck a little card on the info board.

BUS BINGO!!  We got the number 26!

We tied a tag to the handrail

And we're off!!

We passed the Savoy

And ended up at Trafalgar Square!

We've come to see an expedition!

It's a Radical expedition!

It's about Neo-Impressionism, where they used dots of colour to make pictures!

We really enjoyed that expedition!!!  After a quick look round the gift shop (we'll show you later) we headed off

When we came out, we walked across Trafalgar Square to another bus stop

We left another card here too!

BUS BINGO ALERT!  We got a 453!

We tied a tag to the hand rail here too!

And we're off!

And we got off at Great Portland Street Station!

Then we walked around the corner to another bus stop and left a card on the info board.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  We then got the 205 - they've changed the route for this bus. It used to go to Paddington but it goes to Marble Arch now.

They got a tag tied onto the handrail too!

And we're off!

And we ended up at Marble Arch Station!!!

We had to figure out where the return bus stop was..... basically, cross the road and round the corner!!

They got a card on the info board too!

And we got another 205 back the other way!!

OH!!!  It's the same one we got just now!!

That's Marylebone Town Hall, that is.

And an art deco building!

And Madame Tussauds!

Then past Regents Park....

And we got off at British Library!

We decided to stop for dinner before we went home, because we were both starving hungry!

We tied a card to this pole.

And ended up at the North Sea Fish restaurant

We got a fizzy drink.....

And fish and chips!!!  YUMMM!!  We scarfed the whole lot!

Then we just had to walk down the road to the station.

Love that building!

And here we are at the train station!

We used the facilities and left a tag on the door and then washed our paws carefully.

And we got to the platform JUST AS our train arrived!  How fab is that?!?!?!

We went through Blackfriars Station.....

....and towards London Bridge....

And finally arrived back at Brighton!

And we didn't have to wait too long for our bus.

And we got off here!

We got a pack of postcards from the expedition and some badges for bingo prizes.
