Adventure day four

Oh wow, what a glorious morning!!!

We went downstairs for another cooked breakfast while we decided what we're going to do today.

We finished off with lightly toasted toast wiv strawberry jam!

And then we headed out for the day!!

We had to get to the bus stop first.....

We got another 65!

They got a floppy disc!

We crossed over Kew Bridge again...

And got off outside Richmond station!

Then we crossed the road to get another bus

We left a weathergram there!

And then we got an R68 bus!

They got a weathergram too!

Rather nice down here...

Past a cemetery....

And a tree in bloom!

And ended up here at the retail park

Yup, loads of big shops!

We left a CD on this bush!

And then went back to the bus top to get the R68 to the end of route!

And off we went!

We headed back into Richmond

Past the station....

And past the art deco cinema...

And then over Richmond Bridge

Ooo.... another museum??!

Oh wow!

we like this area....

It's very pretty round here

With pretty churches

And poppy decorations!

That's the National Physical Laboratory.  Alan Turing worked there, and at Bletchley Park in WW2 cracking the codes of the German Enigma machines.

Oh wow, that's fancy!

Very fancy indeed!

Defo like it around here!!

Oh now look at that!!

There's a funfair going up!!

Oh wow!

Oh there's Hampton Court Palace!!!

And over the bridge to the other side!!

And we got off here!!  Hampton Court train station is just on the left (out of shot)

Oh yeah, really pretty round here!!

And then we got the R68 back the other way!

Let's go!!!

Back over the river

And some more posh houses!

And along the river

More poppies!!

how fun!

That's somebody's villa!

And then we went back over Richmond Bridge again

And got off here.  We need to find somewhere for lunch

Oh, he needs feeding up.....!!

Here will do!!

Right now, let's check the menu

First we got a fizzy drink

We got an American classic pizza!!

We spotted a fox on the wall

And then used the facilities before we left.  They got a CD!!

Then it was time to get another bus!

It's another 65!!

There's the Pagoda at Kew Gardens again!!

And here we are going over Kew Bridge!

And then we got off here!

And had to get another bus!

it's the 237 going to Hounslow!

And we're off!!

Wonder where Hounslow is?

Oooo, OK

Nosherey??!  The NOSHEREY??!!!  Oh what a funny name!!
(Ed's note: "nosh" is English slang for food/eating food)

Ooo that's pretty!

But a lot of Hounslow seems ..... not quite run down, but working class "functional" buildings.

Not as pretty as the Hampton Court and Richmond buildings.

But there were some fancier houses too

And we got off here at the last stop - that's Hounslow Heath over the road!

Then we just walked round the corner to get the bus back.....!

We left another weathergram here too!

Here we go!

There were loads of planes going overhead - Heathrow Airport's not that far away

There's a pub there!

Oo, interesting....

Oh wow!!

That's rather a fab building!

And another park!

And then we got off the bus here!!!

And went back to the hotel for a cuppa tea!!

Later on, it was time to go to dinner.

We came here again!

We had a glass of wine....

And then we had a sirloin steak, with mushrooms, chips and a little salad!  We got some more yummy flatbread too!

And finished off with a Turkish coffee!

And then went back to the hotel!

And we had our last cayke for pudding!!

What a fun day out this has been!!!
