Today we decided to ride the R68 bus end to end, but first we had to take it from Richmond to Kew Retail Park first and then take it all the way to Hampton Court Palace!! Then we rode back to Richmond and stopped at Pizza Express for lunch.
Then we rode the 237 bus from Kew Bridge to Hounslow and then back to the hotel!
It's a bit overcast this morning, but the sun's trying to come out.
Wonder what we're doing today then.....
We got a bus to Mortlake and stopped at a little park....
That's half way between Barnes Railway Bridge and Chiswick Bridge, the last section of the Oxford Cambridge boat race!!!
We've heard about this, but we've never come to see it!!
We brought a pick nick too! With sarnies and strawberries and stuff!! It was fab!
When we got back to the hotel, we had our apricot tart wiv a cuppa tea
And then we got rubber stamps in our passports!
We went to the Turkish restaurant for dinner again and had chicken shish with an Anatolian yoghurt based sauce and rice. We also got some nommy flat bread too! It was yum!
We had a day out in town today. First we went to the Tate Britain to see a photography expedition. It was a bit depressing.
Then on our way to lunch, we popped into a little bookshop and bought these.
On our way back to the hotel, we stopped in at the Cayke Shoppe and bought these!!
We still haven't found an electrics shop to get an SD card reader. We left our one at home..... oops!
Later on, we decided to go check out an Indian restaurant nearby called The Zero. According to their website they're open on Saturdays from 1pm to 10.30pm. Nope. They were closed. So we went to Ing Thai instead and started with prawn toasts
Then we had Prawn Pad Thai, and we couldn't finish it all!!
