Our holiday day four

This morning we had our usual breakfast and coffee....

Ours was better though!!!

And then we were out and about for today's adventure!!

So off we went to the bus stop.

And got the number 65 again!

They got a light my life card!

We're going over Kew Bridge again....

...and past the cayke shop!!....

And got off here, at the next stop!!

We're going to Kew Gardens today!!  There's already a queue forming.....

And at opening time, we all went in!!!  Where shall we go?

Over here!!!  It's the Palm tree greenhouse!

It's very hot in here....

We found a nearly hidden spiral staircase!!  We didn't go up it though...

There were some pretty flowers in here too!

After looking round there, we used the facilities and left them a CD!

And then went for a walk around the gardens.....

The waterlilies glasshouse was closed so we came this way instead

And left a floppy disc here

Oh!  That's pretty!!

There's another glasshouse over here!  Let's go in!!

We spotted the bagoda again over there!!

They've got a waterfall inside this glasshouse!!

See?!

And an orange tree!

Limes?  No, lemons, they're too big to be limes!!

There was another smaller waterfall here, and people have thrown coins into it!

We heard somebody calling this a sausage tree!!!

After looking round that greenhouse, we continued walking through the gardens.

And left a floppy disc hanging here!!

That's a weird looking tree!

We found the lake too!

It's quite a big one as well!

They've got geese!

Several geese!!

And some swans!

Round the other side of the lake we found benches placed in memory of the crew of the Lockerbie flight of 1988.  Gosh....

We saw some more ducks.....

And shortly after that last picture, Andrea went and slipped in the mud and landed hard on her coccyx.   She struggled getting up because it was so slippery!!!

But managed it though......

After a short rest and partial clean-up, we continued with our walk round the lake.

There's the Bagoda again!

And we found the Japanese gardens as well!

We made a video of it!

And another video on the way back to the gift shop.

We visited the toilets again to wash our hands off of all the mud and then did some shopping in the gift shop and then headed off.

We crossed the road and headed to the bus stop

We left a light my life card on the bus stop!

And we got another number 65!

They got a decorated vinyl record!

And we're off....

We got off just after the station and found a clothing shop and tried on a pair of jeans.  We left a CD in the changing room!!

Since the jeans fitted, Andrea bought them so she didn't have to wear filthy ones for the rest of the day!

And then we went to Pizza Express again for lunch!!

We got a fizzy drink....

And a pepperoni pizza!!  YUM!

We spotted there's a new Anatolian restaurant nearly ready to open!  We'll have to try that when we're next here!

And then it was back to the bus stop

To get another number 65!!

They got a god card.

And we're off...

There's the Bagoda again!!

And the pretty church....

And we came back over Kew Bridge!!

But this time, we decided to stay on to the end of the line - the last time we were here, they kicked us off before the end of route because the roads were all clogged up.  That was last September, when the Queen's funeral was on.

So we're going to see the rest of the route now!

It's quite posh some of it.

And we spotted the Ealing Studios on the way, where they made all those B movies!!

We spotted another church!

And the last stop is Ealing Broadway Station!!

And the bus going back was waiting to leave!!!

So we were able to hop right back on to get back to the hotel!!

They got a god card too!!

We like taking bus rides!!

There's another church!

See?!

Oh wow.... what's that?!

And here we are at Waterman's Centre!!

and a short walk down the road and we're back!!

Andrea got changed out of these jeans, finally!!

Mucky, huh?!!

That's what we bought from Kew Gardens gift shop!

We had a cuppa tea and the last chocolate cayke and then Andrea had a soak in a hot shower!!

Later on when we got hungry, we went out for dinner.

We went back to the Thai restaurant!

We got a beer to drink....

And then we had king prawn pad thai again!!  It was yummy!!

And then we went back to the hotel....

And we all fell straight into bed!!!
