FINALLY!! We get a day out!!!

After waiting ages AND AGES!!!  Andrea finally agreed to take us out!!

So...... up to the bus stop!

....and a bus to the train station!  Huzzah!

We used the facilities first and left them a CD - this got claimed before we got home!!
Then we washed our paws for ages.

Then we got our train!!  Hurrah!!

We got our window seat and left a floppy disc on the handgrip!!

Love this bit!!

OOOooo, it's the Shard over there!!!

THERE IT IS!!!

We got off here at St Pancras!!!

So off we went down here and saw the fancy clock....

And used the utilities and left them a floppy disc.  We washed our paws carefully afterwards?

OOOoooo Fortnums have their windows decorated with Easter stuff!!

Then we came out onto Euston Road

And crossed over to the bus stop here.  So what do we need to get??

OH!  BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the 390 bus!!
A few stops along Euston Road, we had an announcement that the bus was on diversion and there'd be no stops at all between Euston Square and Oxford Circus!!!  OH NO!!  What do we do??!!

Well, we tried finding Bus Stop P so we could pick up a bus to Russell Square ...... but when we got to the top of Gower Street, Bus Stop P didn't exist!!!  So we started walking.....

And spotted these wrought iron lilies!!

And when we got to the bottom of Gower Street, there was no bus stop there either!!!  THERE'S SUPPOSED TO BE A BUS STOP HERE!!!  WHAT'S GOING ON???

Anyway.... we went round the corner - and we're at the British Museum!!

We've come to see an expedition!!!

Hurrah!!  We're through the security bit!!  Now we just got to find out where we need to go!

We had to take the lift to the third floor, and came out near the clocks collection!!  We went past screaming hoards of kiddies by the Sutton Hoo collection....

And then ended up here.....!!
So.... what did we find??!

Interesting, huh?!

After that, we had a look at some of the heavily embroidered Asian clothing....

And then we took the lift back down to the ground floor.

We did a bit of shopping in the gift shop (we'll show you later!)

And then went down the road to our favourite art shop!!!

And did some more shopping!!! (we'll show you later!)

And then, because we were ravenously starving hungry after all that walking around, we came here for lunch!!!

They've even got a butler at the door!!!

First we got a fizzy drink......

And then we got a HUGE ENORRRRMOUS plaice wiv chips!!  And we scoffed the lot, we were THAT hungry!!!  It was YUM!

After lunch, we got to ride a Penny Farthing bicycle!!  We didn't go too far though, we couldn't reach the pedals.

Then we had to work out which bus to get from where, to get to Piccadilly.....

OH!!  This one works!!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  We got the number 14!!  This was the first bus that we did end to end for our bus guide series!!!

They got a floppy disc!

We went past Chinatown!

There's LOADS of red lanterns!!!  LOADS of them!

Then we came past Piccadilly Circus...

And we got off at the Old Street/Royal Academy stop and had a quick look down Burlington Arcade.
We saw some funky bottles with animal heads on, like the Boar and a Dragon!!

And THEN we came into Fortnums!!!  HURRAH!!

OOOOOooo that's pretty!  We did a spot of shopping (we'll show you later!)

And then went to the bus stop over the road.  Now, which one do we get from here??

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the 38!!

They got a floppy disc!!

We went past Chinatown again and saw this chappie!!  Weird!

So..... where do we go now?

We got off here at Islington Green!!!

We tied a CD to the railings too!

And visited Bob's statue... we love it here!!

Then we decorated the railings some more...

....and some more!!

And then went back to the bus stop as it was nearly home time.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 73!!

They got a floppy disc!!

And we got off here, back where we started!!

And it's time to go home.... what a fun day out!

Ooo and only five minutes to wait for our train!!

They got a floppy disc too!!

And we settled down in our seats for the journey home!!

We crossed Blackfriars Bridge on the train - the view here is brilliant!!

And then went past Borough Market ......

And from here, we're not far from home!!!

And we made it back!!!

Then we had to wait a little bit to get a bus back home....

Which spit us out here!

So.... we got two little watercolour paper tester pads and a big set of linoprint cutters which'll be useful!

And we got some bingo prizes...

And some posh coffee and biccies!  Yum!!
