What we did on Christmas Day.....

Today we had a lie in.  Normally we go to Andrea's parents for christmas but not this year - they live in one of those retirement blocks where you have to be over 60 to live there and has a resident warden manager.... apparently there was a resident christmas part last week and the manager plus seven or eight residents came down with Covid.  So it was agreed that we all stop home today.
Hence the lie in!  But we had hot coffee and hot kwussants with butter for breakfast!

Then we got the presents opened - oh, this one's for Tango too!  Where's Tango?!!

Here he is!!!!!  This present's from Bob and Dilly and it's for all of us lot!

Baklava!!!!!!  YUMMMMM!!!

OK, so this one's next.......

A Hedgiemahoggins magnet and a pukka teabag!!  Yum!
Thanks Emily!

Right ho - next up........

FUNNY SOCKS!!!!  Brilliant!!!  Those are from Kirsty again!  She sends brilliant presents!!

We got a calendar from Arnty Bev but she forgot to wrap it.
That's OK!!  We don't mind!!!

Those are the pictures in it.... Thanks Artny Bev!

What's this one?  It's from Germany but we don't know anybody in Germany....

OOOOOOOOOoooooooooo!!!

Oh!!  It's a Bookcrossing calendar sweeps!  We got sent a calendar from Germany!

Sugar coated almonds?!?!!  Yummy!!

And a bookcrossing jotter pad!  Brilliant!!!

And a calendar from Germany and it has recipes in it!
But they're all in german and Andrea doesn't understand the instructions.....

And a handmade calendar as well!

With funny pictures of objects with googly eyes on!
What fun!!!

Then we pulled a cracker!!! Everyone pull!!!!!!

BANG!!  WE WON!!!

Go on, put the hat on!  Here's the joke.... why did the turkey cross the road?
To prove it wasn't chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!

These crackers had a bunch of bingo cards in the box!!  I can send these out to my friends so they can join in the Bus Bingo game!!!  Bob and Dilly can have two, Sullivan and Gilbert can have two, Hammie can have one..... don't know if Jerry and Ben are joining in, but they can have two........ hmmm...
After all that excitement, we decided to to jump up and down on the bed for a while....

And then ages later, we had a sort of christmas lunch..... two sausages wrapped in bacon, roast potatoes and chestnuts.  Not bad for somebody that doesn't cook......!!

OK - another cracker!!!  Everyone pull!!!

BANG!!!  Hahahaaaa!!

OK another hat....

And the joke is - what is a gorilla's favourite Christmas song?
Jungle Bells!!!!!

......oh dear......!!

OK, Andrea says we can start on the chocolates now...

Hope you got some good presents......... happy Christmas.........
