A Trip!

Today we had to go up to London - well Andrea did, for an early medical appointment tomorrow.  I went with her to keep her company!

So we went up to the bus stop.....

....and arrived at the train station!

We didn't have to wait long for our train!

They got a CD!

We made another video of this bit!!

There's the Shard over there!!!

And we got off here.....

And we managed to find the right exit!!!  We're at London Bridge Station!

We spotted a metal sculpture outside the train station.....

And another one over the road!!  While we were talking this picture, a weird man came over and waved a £20 note in Andrea's face!!!  She gave him a weirder look and he left and put the money back in his wallet!!!  He was odd!

We left a CD on the big sculpture too.

There's the entrance to Borough Market!

And the Shard's down there!!!  We thought we'd investigate where the hospital is on the way to the hotel.....

There's where we need to go!!!  Oh, that's easy peasy!

On the way back to the main road, we left a poppy on the railing!

And there's a Tas restaurant over the road!!!  Let's eat there tonight!!!

And here's our hotel!!!

We got a room on the first floor!!!

And we got tea making facilities too!

And a big TV....!

And a big bed!!!!

Not the best view, but we're not here for that.....

Ahhhhh......this is the life!!!

Right ho, let's relax.........!!!

I got a new rubber stamp in my passport too!

Later on when we got hungry, we went off for dinner...... the top of the Shard lights up at night!

Here we are!!!

We got bread, dip and olives!!!!  HURRAH!!!!!!

We got lentil soup and I got Andrea a glass of Anatolian white wine to go with the Anatolian food we're eating!!!

It's a yummy glass of wine, too!!!

Then we got a chicken shish with couscous which was YUMTASTIC!!!  We even had a guitar player sitting in the restaurant playing music!!!

We got a piece of Turkish Delight on the way out...... Andrea said I could have that!!

She's good like that!

Then it was just over the road back to the hotel.......

......and I was completely pooped!!!
