Day Two of trip......

Ahhhhh......first tea of the morning!!

We went downstairs for an early breakfast and had a coffee and toast wiv butter and orange marmalade.
Yum!!

They also had Panno Shoko Lah and Andrea said I could have one for my breakfast!!!
Excellent!!

And then we brought up another one up to our room to nibble on while we finished packing!!!

Right, there we go.  Think we're done!

We decided to check out early and take our stuff with us up to the hospital...... that way, we can scoot off when we're done and not have to fanny around coming back to the hotel.

We spotted a cable box on the way to the hospital.

And there's that walkie talkie building with an elevated train going by into London Bridge station!!!

We left another poppy on the railings too!

And a CD!

Well that was annoying and a half!!  We had a 9 am appointment and we turned up a little early.  When we spoke to reception, the lady looked us up on the computer and said oh no, you've been rescheduled until the end of December, should've been told yesterday.  (Nope, there was no message on our landline when we got home!)  But the lady said since we'd come a long way, she'd tell the doctor to try and fit us in.  Turns out she could, but we'd have to stick around and wait.  It took nearly four hours to get finished.

So.  At nearly 1 pm, rather annoyed and hungry, we made our way into town to find somewhere to eat.  And left a floppy disc on this railing!!!

And spotted another cable box over the road but it came out fuzzy!

We got on a number 17 bus first but didn't get a picture..... they got a CD!

On the way, we saw a group of bagpipers outside a train station making loads of noise and all wearing skirts!  I mean, kilts...!

And then we got off here at St Pauls Cathedral!!!

And you can see the reflection in this shiny ball!!!!!

We're going in here, Cafe Rouge!

First we got a fizzy drink!

We got a big burger and fries...... and we couldn't finish it all because it was so big!!
Was yummy though.....!  And it cheered up Andrea a bit too!

Then we got a number 26 bus!

And we're off....!!

And we got off here at Australia House!!

We decided to walk for a bit and spotted the Courtauld Galleries are open again at Somerset House!  They've got a Beano expedition on at the moment, the art of breaking the rules!!!

We spotted piggie again!

And here we are at Trafalgar Square!!!  A tourist asked us how to get to Buckingham Palace so we explained that to him and said to say hello to the Queen!

Then we got a number 29 bus!

They got a floppy disc!!

Where are we going now?

Oh!!!  Foyles!!  We went inside to get a passport for Kidney Beanie but we couldn't find any!!!  Either they've been moved or they didn't have any..... so we'll have to find something online now.

Then we got a number 38!

And got off here, round the corner from Tottenham Court Road!

They got another funky zebra crossing!!!

Then we got the last bus of the day here.....

The number 73!!!

And we're off!!!  We're quite tired now.....

And we got off here at the British Library!

And then it was just down the road to St Pancras Station!

Fortnums have got a christmas tree up already!!  We'll show you what we got later!

Ah Laduree!!  I think Andrea needs a cayke.....

Then we went and got our train home!!  We got another window seat!

This one got a floppy disc!

And now we're crossing Blackfriars Bridge...... at the station!

......and now coming into the London Bridge area where we started off yesterday!
We promptly had a snooze on the train.

Just as well we didn't need to get off until the last stop!!!!

And there was even a bus waiting for us outside the station!!! So all we had to do was jump on, and we're on the way home!

Here's our stop!!!  Then it's just down the road!

Can I lick the box out please?

    1. Yup. Because they forgot to tell us not to turn up today, they had to fit us in amongst the people that DID have appointments which meant a lot of waiting about. Not exactly fun.....!
