We're in London!!

At lunchtime today, we packed our bags and headed out...... we're going somewhere!!

We walked up to Hove Train station....... where are we going?!?!

Ooooo, that's the viaduct at Balcombe!

Now we're at East Croydon!

Oh we're coming towards Battersea Power station now!

We've come to London!

We're getting the Underground now...... how exciting!!

And we came out at Richmond!!!

They've got a reindeer outside!!!

Then we had to cross the road to the bus stop.....

...and get on a number 65 bus!

They got a CD too!

We went past an Indian restaurant....

And saw the Pagoda at Kew Gardens!

Then we went past this little church.  The lady sitting next to us on the bus told us that the artist Gainsborough is buried there as well as another artist but she forgot his name.  We'll have to go look next time we're in the area!

Then we went over Kew Bridge.

In two stages because there's a bus stop in the middle!

And we got off here!!!  That white building behind us is where we're staying!

We've got a room all to ourselves on the second floor!!!

And then I noticed that all the other beanie's had stowed away in Andrea's backpack!!!

HURRAAYYY!!!

We checked the view from our window....

And made a cuppa tea.

Then a bit later on we went out because we're meeting somebody at the bus stop.

It's Sandy!!  He's had a really boring day at the National Archives and we've come to hang out with him for the weekend!

We decided to come here for dinner, it's a Turkish restaurant that we found last time we were here.

So we perused the menu.

And then Sandy gave us a ton of presents!!!  We got bis kwits....

And some Real Canadian Maple Syrup!  YUMMY!!

We got some smelly soaps.  Those must be for Andrea, mice don't do Barthin'.....!

We spotted a sparkly christmas tree outside!

Then our beers arrived.  That's Sandy's Mummy!!!!!!

Sandy examined our beer.  That's OURS!

We got chicken skewers with rice and salad..... Sandy decided to have the same thing!

It was scrumptious.

Then we examined the dessert menu...... and spotted something rather fab!

Dark chocolate brownie with chocolate sorce and icecream!!!

Sandy had one as well and he ate his quicker than we did!!

But we finished it!!

Then we scooted off back......

Sandy went back to the AirB&B they're staying at and we came back to the hotel.

Prezzies!!!

We also got a ton of presents for our Sandy Bear Art Deco entries...... we got loads of them!!

We like the hot chocolate and the Paddington Bear badge!!!

Then it was bed time.....we're exhaustipated!!
