We did the whole Snoopy Trail!!!

We're going out today!!!

Proper out, by train!!

Our train was already waiting for us so we got on and grabbed a window seat!!

And we're off!!!

That's Millwall football stadium....

And there's the Shard!

It's very tall.....

And it's got sparkly lights on the bottom!

Then we travelled over Borough Market.....

And got off here!!!

First we used the facilities and left them a floppy disc.

And then we headed out!!!  Last time we were here was when Sandy Bear was visiting!

We're going down this way today but we're not getting a bus....

We walked past St Andrew's wardrobe.  He keeps his pants in there.

What's a Doctors Commons then?

That the College of Arms.  Our George used to model there, you know.

They have some coats of arms on the walls there.

AHA!  Here we are!!  We're going on A Trail today, treasure hunting!!

Oh!  Wonder what the upholders used to hold up?

Right ho.  The first one of what we're hunting is around here somewhere.

But that's not it.

Oh!!  A rat and a pigeon!!!

AHA!!!  It's the Snoopy trail!!!  This is number one - we'll make a separate post for all of them together!

Then we had to walk down Carters Lane to get to the next one.

That's the St Pauls Youth Hostel!!  Fancy, huh?!

Oh here we are!!  Number two!!

Then we walked up onto Fleet Street and found number 11 almost opposite the City Thameslink Station.  So we're a bit "out of order" now!  But we found this one with Sandy Bear when he was here!

Another beak and squeak!

This one's number 12 at Ludgate Circus!

Then we had to walk down towards Blackfriars Station again.....

Oh, Bride Court.....

We need to get to St Bride's Church next, which is down here somewhere!

Pretty!

Oh!!  Another saying!!

AHA!!! This is where we need to be!!!

To see Snoopy number three!!!
Oh, haha, that rhymes!!

Oh, Sam Peepees was born here.

Then we ended up back on Fleet Street by the Daily Express building.

Then we went down to Gough Square to see Snoopy number four - this was another one that me and Sandy found when he was here.

We said hello to Hodge the cat too

And left a floppy disc on the railing here!

We had to wind our way back to Fleet Street again and passed this little fountain thingy

On the other side of Fleet Street opposite Fetter Lane we found Snoopy number five but he was asleep

Then we had to wander down to Chancery Lane

They've got some interesting alleyways down here.

Right here we go....

We left another floppy disc on these railings.

Oh, those are fancy doorways!!

And here's Snoopy number 6!!  He's just past the Maughan Library which is part of Kings College London

Somebody called John Thurloe used to live there
No, I've never heard of him either.

We left another floppy disc here too!

and found another quote on the way to Fetter Lane!

AHA!!  We ended up in New Street Square....

And found Snoopy number seven!

We left another floppy disc in the Christmas Tree!

And on our way back to Fleet Street, we left another floppy disc here too!

And found another quote!

Right ho.  We're really hungry now....

So we came here for lunch!!  It's the Old Bank of England next to the Royal Courts of Justice!

FOOOOODDD!!!!

LET'S GO IN!!!

It was quite busy in here but we managed to snaffle a table and ordered lunch at the bar.  We got a fizzy drink too!

And here's lunch!!!  We scarfed the whole thing!!

It's very posh in here for a pub....

After lunch, we headed off to find the last few Snoopy's

We had to head up to Holborn Circus for the next one and spotted another Christmas tree!

Here he is!!  Snoopy number 8!!

Oh this is so much fun!

Then we had to head over to the other side of Holborn Viaduct.

and we left this one here!

AND found another quote!!  We think beak and squeak did the Snoopy trail too!!

Oooo!  Pretty!

Here's Snoopy number 9!

That's the Old Bailey - we came here with Sandy a few weeks back!

And there's Snoopy number 10!  We found all of them!!

And more Christmas trees!!

Now we found all of the Snoopy sculptures, we've got plenty of time to ride a few buses.

First we got the number 59!

They got a floppy disc!

Oh, we've just been there!

Wonder where we're going now?

Oh we got off here....

We're at the Waldorf on Aldwych!

We gotta get another bus now.....

BUS BINGO ALERT!  It's the number 9!

They got this one!

And we're off!

Ooooo!

Think that's St James' Palace down there

And we got off here at Piccadilly!

Oh fancy!

We went to do a spot of shopping and found Piggy's sandwich shop!!!!!

We went round the corner to Whittards to get something.  We'll show you later!

And then we came back to Piccadilly to get another bus!

Right now, which one are we getting?

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  It's the number 19!!

they got this one!

WHEEEE!!

There's Chinatown over there.

And there's Tottenham Court Road

And then we got off here just before Grey's Inn Road.

We had to walk round the corner to this bus stop.

And got the number 17!!

They got this one!

It's starting to get a bit dark now....

And we got off here!  Can you tell where we are?!

St Pancras station!  It's home time.

But what a fun day it's been!

We used the facilities and left this one!

There's the fancy christmas tree!  Eurostar was absolutely heaving ...... too many people had turned up to board trains and they weren't letting them in to board!! It was crazy!

No such problem for us though..... our train is next!!

And we got straight on and got a window seat again!

We arrived at Blackfriars station

And then went through to London Bridge

And then we had a snooze for a while.....

And we arrived back all in one piece!!

We didn't have to wait long for our bus home either.

We got off here and whizzed down the road

And had some fancy hot chocolate when we got home!!!
what a day!
