Our Last Day of A Big Adventure

 

Well, today we were half thinking of going down to Kew Gardens with a packed lunch for the morning, but the weather's so rubbish today we changed our minds.

String and Jelly came down for Breakfast while me and Kidney jumped on the bed!

We're still annoyed they STILL don't have any panno shoko lah. 

Then just before 10, we scarpered out of the hotel.....

....and walked down the road....

...and came to the Musical Museum!

We met up with Sandy again!!

We couldn't use my art pass to get in but that's OK.  

It was still fun to look around!

They've got some interesting gadgets here!

And a cat and dog!!

Even Sandy said hello to these guys!!

We had a final photoshoot of all of us!

A little later on, they turned on one of the machines for us!!

And after that, they turned on this one as well!!

After a good look round, we decided to part ways ...... there's not much else to do round here and the weather's appalling..... so we said goodbye to Sandy Bear and came back to the hotel to finish packing!

And then we checked out...

....and headed off to the train station!  We've had a brilliant weekend!

So we headed off back to the bus stop.

And hopped on the 237 bus!

They got a CD!!

The bus was absolutely rammed solid with people!!

But we managed to get a window seat, hurrah!!

And spotted some interesting buildings on the way!

There's a market there!

Oh that's posh!

Everybody piled off the bus at Shepherds Bush Station but we stayed on until the last stop at White City and found our next bus stop!

They've got a Christmas tree over there!

Then we got a C1 bus - but it's going to Victoria, not White City!!

We gave a floppy disc to this bus!!

And spotted another Christmas tree!

We spotted some skulls on the way.

Oh I know where we are now!!!  South Kensington Station!!

There's the Natural History Museum - there's scads of people queuing up to get in!!

There's the V&A!

And the Brompton Oratory!

Are they bears or mice?!?!?!!

Oooo!

Posh huh?!?!

There's lots of Christmas decorations around!!

We're at Sloane Square now!

And it's still tipping it with rain!

It's very pretty round here, eh?!

Nearly at the Station.......

And here we are!!!

We didn't have to wait too long for our train and we got a window seat!

There's Battersea Power Station over there!!

There's lots of low flying clouds on the way home!!

We can't even see the South Downs today!!

And we're back!!

Then we waited a little while for the last bus of the day....

....and left another floppy disc on the rail!

And then got off here and raced home so we didn't get too wet!!

What a fab weekend!!!
