A day out in London!!!

 

We had a day out today!!!

And we're getting a train from Hove Station!!!

The train was absolutely rammed solid with people so we couldn't take any pictures until we got to Clapham Junction!!!  It was very foggy outside on the way up though so we couldn't have seen anything anyway.

Ooo there's the Battersea Power Station chimneys over there!

We're going over the Thames!!!

We used the facilities first and left them a floppy disc.

Then we had to go get a bus!!

We left from this bus stop and got the 170..... but the display thing on the side of the bus didn't work (only the one on the front!) so we didn't get a photo.  Doesn't matter though, because nobody has it on their bingo cards!!!

We left a CD on the rail!

And we're off!!

We went back over the Thames at Battersea Bridge.

Oooo those are fancy balconies!!

And an advert on the side of the building!

Posh huh?!

And then we got off the bus here!!!

Outside the Green Man pub on the outskirts of Putney!

Then we went over to this bus stop....

And got a number 14!  BUS BINGO ALERT!!

They got a floppy disc!

And then we got off here!

Oh wow, that's fancy!

Then we spotted the Fox and Hound pub.....!

They do lunch here and it's lunch time!  Let's go in!!!

First we got a drink and looked at the menu!

After Andrea ordered the food, they brought along the salt, papper and ketchup plus knife/fork/napkin!

BURGER AND CHIPS!  Excellent!

Burger, bacon and cheese..... it was OK.  We've had better burgers elsewhere, but this one was OK.  

We used the facilities before we left

And then went down the road to see this art deco building for Sandy's contest!!!

We'll make a separate post about this one - it's pretty, huh?!

We bumped into Andrea's friend while we were there so after we'd taken a few photos, we scooted off for coffee!

We were trying to find somewhere that does cheesecayke and eventually we came here!!

They've got funny lights here made with hats!!!

We got another coffee...

AND CHEESECAYKE!!! It was vanilla and rather yummy!!

After we'd all stuffed our faces, we went for a walk and met a crocodile!

And a crazy mirror that turns everything upside down!!

That's a fancy rooftop eh?!

After a while, we all had to scoot off on our way so we said goodbye to Andrea's friend and came to this bus stop!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!  We got the 74!!

They got a CD - this bus was absolutely rammed solid as well!!

We crossed over the Thames again...... as far as the bus stop in the middle of the bridge!

And then went over the rest of the bridge!

We saw some Christmas decorations on the way...!

We like seeing sparkly lights!

Ooooo!!

That's the Natural History Museum!

Those are hanging in a tree!

Oooooo!!!

And then we got off here at Hyde Park Corner!

Then we went to this bus stop....

And picked up the number 52!!

They got a CD as well!

And we got off at the last stop!! It's time to go home!

There's Battersea Power Station over there.....

We're going over the Thames again!!

And then we got off at our stop!!

Andrea got some bubble bars as Lush at Victoria Station before we got on the train..... she's weird....
