This is the Blackfriars pub outside Blackfriars Station.
It's rather small and a weird shape but it's very pretty!
And it's Kidney Beanie's entry to Sandy Bear's Art Deco contest..... although technically this is an Art Nouveaux building, we're hoping Sandy won't discriminate on the age difference!!
It's a Grade 2 listed building built on the site of a medieval Dominican friary and then remodelled in 1905 by architect Herbert Fuller-Clark
On one side of the building there's four of these brass signs....
And it has mosaic signage above the door and windows.
See?!
Then there's more brass signage down the other external walls where the entry doors are.
