An expedition!!

We went out early again today - we're getting the communal front door replaced today and we don't want to hear any boshing!!

So we got a bus into town and got off here....

And then walked up here!!

We didn't have to wait long for our train and we got a window seat!!

We gave them a floppy disc

It got foggy again......

We love this bit!!

And the fog had gone by the time we got to Millwall football stadium!

There's the Shard!

but we didn't get off there.....

We got off here at Blackfriars!!!

They got a fancy statue here!

We used the facilities and left them a floppy disc too!

Then we walked back over the bridge and along the south bank...

We left a CD here!

We spotted a dinosaur!!!

And another memorial.....

We're going to the Tate Modern!

We're meeting a friend to see the Leigh Bowery expedition!

Let's go in!!!

We met our friend at the Corner Cafe in the Tate and had a catch up over coffee and then we came up to the third floor!

Oh wow!!!  This in bonkers!!!

Very loud, very flamboyant and very bonkers!!

Would we let ourselves in??  I think we're a little understated underdressed at the moment....

 

There were also videos of Leigh Bowery shopping at Harrods too.....!!

All a little bit mad!!!

We stopped at the gift shop for a bit after the show (we'll show you later)

And then we used the facilities where I left another floppy disc.

And then we sauntered along the river to go to lunch!

We came here!!!

we got a fizzy drink

And we got a prawn casserole!!

And they gave us some bread and rice and hoummus too!  It was all scrumptious!!

After lunch, we said goodbye to our friend and then parted ways..... we came this way towards Borough Market

And they use a very old tree trunk to make repairs on the boat.

We found some fancy graffiti too!

We're going back over the Thames!

And we got off here!!

We're going home now!!

We're heading towards London Bridge now...

And we're home!!

We got a bus back and just have to walk down here now.

Oooh!  Our "security code" door!  We got the code right but the door wouldn't open!!

Apparently we had to turn the handle left and pull, but we were turning the handle right and pushing!!

But we got in eventually - and the front door has been boshed out!!!

We got some postcards and badges

And we found a 10p on the pavement this morning - and it's MINE!
