And then we came home....!!

This morning, we got up early and went for a Big Cooked Breakfast before the madding crowds came down.

We had coffee too. 

A bit later on, we went back to our room and packed up because it was time to go!  We got a new rubber stamp in my passport too!  (we'll show you later!)

Then we went off to the bus stop over the road.

Didn't have to wait too long for our bus!

And we're off!!

The Rotherhithe tunnel is around here somewhere.....

Ooooo!

Gosh....

Interesting bus ride!

That's Waterloo Station over there!

And some graffiti'd columns!

We ended up on a bit of a diversion after here and went a weird way.....

Over Westminster Bridge!!

See?!

There's the Houses of Idiots Parliament!

Fancy innit?

And there's Westminster Abbey!

Then we went on another weird diversion...

And eventually ended up at Victoria Coach Station.....!

And then at the train station!!!  We used the facilities and left them a CD....

And then went to get another bus!!!

We gave them a CD as well!

We went past our favourite sculpture

And past a Chinese Lion

And got off here at Piccadilly!

YUM!!!

We're going to stop in here to see an expedition!!

Wow!  How exciting!

We had a bit of time before our entry time to the expedition so we stopped in another free entry room first for a look round.

They had some interesting stuff in here

With sketch books!

And..... this thing!

Then we headed off over here!!

Here we go!  It was a very small expedition with only 2 rooms and low lighting because the pictures were all over 500 years old and nobody wants them to fade.  We were a little underwhelmed with it, but it was OK.  We stopped in the gift shop though (we'll show you later)

And then came back to the cafe for a ginger beer and a smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel.

That was yummy!

We used their facilities as well and left them a floppy disc!!

And then we headed off!

We went over to Fortnum & Masons

They've got glitter balls!!

We had a good look round - their staircase was all blocked off though!!!

We found out that they're not allowed to sell anything until 12 noon and we didn't want to hang around for another 20 minutes......

So we went over the road to the bus stop....

And got another bus! 

They got a floppy disc too!

We got to Piccadilly Circus!

See?!

There's Foyles!!

We got off at the next stop and walked back to Tottenham Court Road.

Oh!!  There's a big red shoe!!

Theatre show, the Devil Wears Prada.

Then we went up to the next bus stop

And got the last bus of the day!

They got a CD!

And we're off!!

We got off here outside the British Library

And it's time to go home!

We stopped in here first (we'll show you later)

And when we got to the station platform, our train was ready waiting for us!!!

That was handy!

We went through Blackfriars Station

And over towards London Bridge Station

And through here.

And arrived back at Brighton!!

Then a bus to here and then we whizzed back home!!

We got some postcards from the expedition

And some coffee and Bis Kwits

And that's my snazzy new rubber stamp!

What a fun weekend!!
