Picasso expedition and buses......

We got up proper early for a Sunday......

And we hightailed it up to Hove Train Station!!  We're going somewhere!!!

The train was super busy so we couldn't take any pictures.  But we came to London!!!

We used the facilities at the station and left them a CD.

OH!!!  There's only 2 buses and they're not going anywhere!!

There's a big Remembrance parade in central London so there's lots of road closures this morning, so we can't get a bus to where we want to go.

So we went onto the Underground and got The Rube.

And we ended up here!!!!

We like this station because it has lots of mosaics on the walls.

They're really pretty!!!

And this is where we came out!

We walked up Tottenham Court Road a bit and then went onto Great Russell Street and left a floppy disc on a railing!!

We're at the British Museum!!!

We're going to see an expedition!!

We had to go to the back of the building and then get the elevator to the 4th floor, and came here!!

Oh wow, these are interesting!!!

Picasso did lots of different types of printing....

including etching and linoprinting.....

We like this one!

After a good look round at all the pictures, we came back downstairs and had a rummage around the gift shop (we'll show you later!)

We had a little wander round to decide where to go for lunch and we found another mosaic!

And we decided to come here for lunch!!  It got a bit drizzly outside and fish & chips is the best comfort food for drizzly weather!

So we got fizzy drink.....

and an e-NOR-mous plaice wiv chips!!!!! And we scarfed the WHOLE LOT!!!

Then we went to see what the buses were doing and left a floppy disc here!

They've got the Christmas deccies out now....!

Aha, here's the bus stop.

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 19!!

They got a CD!

And we're off!!

We went past Chinatown....

It's pretty!

And got to Piccadilly Circus where we were held up a little bit.

Because there's a parade coming down from Regents Street into Haymarket, we think part of the Remembrance Sunday parade.

We made a little video, you can just about hear the brass band.

There's some more Christmas decorations up, but you can't really see them.

We got off at Princes Arcade - they have pretty lights up!!

And then we walked back a little to Fortnum & Masons!!!  They have decorations up too!!

Oh these are lovely!!

LET'S GO IN!!!  (we'll show you later!)

When we'd finished shopping we came out and almost walked off but heard some tinkling music.... their clock is a musical clock!!

Look what happens!!!

There's Burlington Arcade....

That's pretty too!

Then we went back to the bus stop to get another bus

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  We got the number 24!!

We gave them a floppy disc

And we're off!!

It's definitely getting a bit dank and manky outside....

Ooo it's getting posh down here!

We got off near Pimlico station and found some manhole covers!!

And this is our next bus stop.

They got a floppy disc too!

And we're off!!

We're down by the Thames now, and that's Battersea Power Station on the other side.

Definitely getting manky.....

Then we reached the Michelin building!!

They've got pretty tiles on the outside!

We like this building!!

And we got off at South Kensington Station!!  Our next bus arrives at the same bus stop so we don't have to go anywhere.

There's the Natural History Museum at the top of the road there!

BUS BINGO ALERT!!!  It's the C1!

We gave them a floppy disc too!

There's the V&A museum....

And there's Horrids!!!  Ooo, the outside is decorated by the looks of it!

Oh wow!!!

Oh this is fun, seeing all this!

Those are gold, those decorations!!

Very posh shops round here too!!

That's Cartier there, we won't be shopping there.

AHA!!!  That's the National Audit building there opposite the Victoria Coach station!!

We got off at the last stop and left a CD on the railing here.

And it's time to go home!!

We didn't have to wait too long for our train and we got a window seat too!

And we're off!!! There's Battersea Power Station again!!

And we're back at Brighton Station!!!  There was a bus ready and about to go outside so we jumped on before they went without us!!

And we got off here!!!

We got some postcards  from the British Museum....

Including some from the expedition we saw!

And a bus medal!!  We might make that a bingo prize....

And we got coffee and chocolates from Fortnums.
