We got up early today and went out in the rain.
Our friend Carolynn came with us to catch a bus!!
And we ended up here at the train station. It was super busy.... we learned later that not only was the London Marathon on today, but the local football team were playing at Wembley again Manchester United!!
There were loads of rowdy football fans waiting around to get the same train as we got!!
We managed to get a window seat....
And Carolynn brought scooby snax!!! YAY!!
That's London over there!!!
We're crossing the Thames!!
We used the side exit from the station and came down here to get a bus....
But which one is it??
It's the C10!!! (but it's going to Canada Water because we're already at Victoria station!!)
We left a CD on the bus....
And when we got off the other end, we left a floppy disc on a railing!!
And then crossed the road to go to the Tate Britain!!
We're going to see an expedition about the Rossetti's!!
We bought tickets and then used the facilities. We left another CD and then washed our paws carefully.
After the expedition, we popped into the gift shop (we'll show you later) and then made our way back to the bus stop.....
We're getting another bus!!
BUS BINGO ALERT!!! We got another C10 bus!!!
They got a CD!!
We got off a few stops later and had to wait for another bus.....

They got a floppy disc!!
We went past Battersea Power Station!!!
OOOoooo pretty tree covered in pink flowers!!
This is Sloane Square!! It's all decked out in Union Jack bunting ready for some do happening in a couple of weeks. Not sure what that's about though.
Then we went past that Art Deco Michelin building!!
And then we got off here at South Kensington!! We're going for lunch somewhere....
Pierino's!!! HURRAH!!
First we got a fizzy drink in....
And then we got a pizza!!! We had a Nettuno pizza which had olives and onion on it. Oh yeah, and tuna fish!!
After lunch we had a short walk up to the V&A museum....
And went along to another bus stop....
BUS BINGO ALERT!! We got the C1 bus!!!
They got a CD!
We got off a couple of stops later over the road from Horrids!! And it's covered in scaffolding!!!
Anyway, we went in and headed straight for the food halls.....
CHEEEEEZZEEE!!!!!! (we'll show you later!)
They have lovely tiling in here...
CHOCOLATE!! Cocoa Beanie would love it in here...
More choccies!!
And freshly baked bread!! The smells in here were fabulous!!
Then we made our way past the Egyptian staircase....
Proper posh, huh?!!
That was a good visit to Horrids!!

Then it was over the road back to the bus stop....

We got off at the very last stop, at Victoria Station! It's home time!
We didn't have to wait long for our train, and this one was nice and quiet! Carolynn even had a snooze most of the way home!!!
We crossed the Thames again near Battersea Power Station!

And we're back!!
AND there was a bus waiting for us outside!!
And we got off at the top of our road and had a short walk home!
After saying goodbye to Carolynn, we got home - we got a book of Christina Rossetti pomes and some postcards from the expedition.
And - our FAVOURITE!!! - we got goats milk cheese and some quince jelly from Horrids.
We've tried this - it's SERIOUSLY NOMMY!!!
And Andrea got some Wasabi shampoo from Lush at Victoria Station.
She's weird.
