New Water Heater.....

For the last 21 years we've had this water heater in the kitchen.  It's Prehistoric and obsolete.  In the last three or four months, it developed a couple of leaks, the second leak being unfixable...... so a new heater was ordered at the beginning of July and I was informed of its' arrival last Friday at 5:30 pm.  So, 18th and 19th July we've taken as holiday from work so we don't have to be here when the removal and installation happened!!!

Yesterday we came home to this.  We had running water still, but no hot water.

This was the new one waiting to be installed.

Today, we got home to this spiffy little gizmo.  New copper pipes too.

So after the hottest day of the year (33 degrees here) I had the loveliest bubble barth ever!!!
