It's a birthday card from Sandy and Cocoa and the gang!! With a long letter about what they've been up to! They heard about our so called petrol shortages (nope. HGV driver shortages - we got petrol but not enough people to drive the lorries to deliver it to petrol stations) and gas prices rising. Now that one's true - Russia and France are playing silly buggers over gas supply pipes which is impacting our prices. We've also had a lot of the supplier companies here (the smaller ones) go out of business which means the remaining (bigger) companies take the extra customers and because the competition is lower, there's more chance of price rises for us lot at the bottom of the food chain. Although, Andrea says our utility bill for gas and electric recently went down by £10 a month!! I guess one of the perks of living in a smaller studio flat unit with no husband/partner/children/etc means we have minimal demand on electricity and gas usage. Therefore our cost isn't going to be that huge anyway, even with a price rise.
