Third present

We got another package today too!  It's one of the ones we'd ordered last weekend for Andrea's birthday!!

Let's see now, what have we got?

We got a lime green Happy Bag!!!

We got a bag of Thick Rayon Floss threads!!!

And we got a Peppermint Destash Bag of speciality threads!!!

We got a surprise package today!!  Wonder what's in it......?

Experiments??!!  I love experiments!!

OH WOW!!!!!  It's a hand made card with a seaglass rune on it!!!

See?!  It has a rune painted on in gold!!!

It's a birthday card from Arnty Helena, Bob and Dilly!!!  I love it!!!

They also sent some snazzy papers they'd decorated!  One's got foxes on it!

Oh wow!!!  This is brilliant!!!!

Our second present!

We got another package today!!!

It was the new lino we'd ordered last weekend!!!

Hurrah!!!

To celebrate we made some "Om" cards with a new lino carving we just made!

Surprise presents!!!

We had three Amazon boxes outside our front door today.  But we didn't buy anything from Amazon!  Who are these from, then??

The first box we opened was a Penguin book of Japanese short stories from Arnty Helena!!!  Oh wow!  That looks really interesting!

The next box had a yellow and pink box in it......

Tea pops???!!

This is a green tea drink from Dilly!!!!  oh wow!!

We got a piece of craft paper in that box too - which is good because we have another junk journal to make!  We can use this for the journal too!

Then we opened the biggest box!!!  This had another piece of craft paper in!  Brilliant!!  I can use that in the junk journal as well!!

CHOCOLATE!!!!  Salted caramel chocolate!!!  This one's from Bob!!  He gets us the bestest presents, he does!!

Letters from Afar - Isle of Skye & New Orleans

I got a letter addressed to ME!!!

It's got a sticker on the back saying "Letters from Afar"!!!!  What is it?!?!

Oh wow!!!  There's two letters in this one, and two stamps as well!!  A green Spanish stamp and a beige Canadian stamp!!!

The first letter was from the Isle of Skye!  That's in Scotland!!!

It's got pictures on it as well as the letter - is that the Loch Ness Monster on it??

It's from Grayte Arntie Isabelle!!!  She goes travelling everywhere - I guess she found my address and decided to write to me!!!  How fun!!!

She draws pictures too - see?!?!

This one's from New Orleans!  That's in America!!!

There's an alligator in a swamp there!!

And then she went eating and partying!!!  

She gets up to a lot, does Grayte Arntie Isabelle!!!

The first present!!

We had a little box delivered by the Postman today!!

It was an order from a place called Friars that we made over the weekend!!!

We got chocolates!!!

The big bag was some dark chocolate and milk chocolate rum truffles and the little bag was a free taster pack of chocolates!!

They're nommy too.

Champers!!!

It's Andrea's birthday today.  Normally she'd take us away for a couple of days with a slap up dinner but we can't this year.  So we've opened a bottle of champers that was in the fridge, and we're going to order a curry delivery later for dinner.  And then we've got lots of prezzies being delivered over the week!!!!!!!!!

That'll do us!!!!

We had a Thornton's chocolate cayke too!!!  Andrea got a slice and we got the rest of it!!!!

Then for dinner, we got an Indian curry delivered!!!!!

We got some papadoms, pillaw rice, King Prawn dansak, garlic naan bread..... this was FABEROONI!!!!

And we also got some onion bhajees with a little pot of dip stuff.  They were proper nom too

We were completely STUFFED!  And there's enough for tomorrow too!

We got mail!!

We got mail the other day!!!  With a Canadian stamp on the envelope!

OOoooo it had postcards in it!!

And they all had a long message from Sandy Bear on the back of them!!  Apparently he was having a "Tidy Up" at home (whatever that is) and found loads of postcards and decided to write to people.

Thanks Sandy!  Getting these were fun!

International Mail Boxes!

We found this olive green one in Rochester in May 2019!!

We found a gold one in Portland in October 2018!

We got a postcard the other day that had mailbox stamps on!!  It's from South Korea.....

This one is an English "double" post box - meaning there's two slots to put your mail into!
