Art, shopping and eating in London!!

We went out this morning......

........up to the bus stop!  Where are we going?

We didn't have to wait long for the number 6 bus.....

......and we got off at the station!

Now then..... which train are we getting??

AHA!  This one!

And we're off!

We're going to London!!!

Here we are crossing the Thames!!!

And there's loads of buses waiting for us, too!!

So where's this one going??

we gave them one of Arnty Bev's decorated CDs!

Oh, we're going past Hyde Park Corner here!!

And we got off here!!!

We're going to the Royal Academy Summer Expedition!!!

Oh wow!  There's loads of sculptures in the courtyard!!

Including a wol one!!!

Oh wow!

This is fun!

We quickly used the facilities and left them a floppy disc....

....before getting a ticket in for the show!!!  (they only gave us a measly £3 off on our Art Pass but that'll pay for coffee later on....!)  There's LOADS of paintings in here this year!

Oh wow!!!  This is a long picture but because of so many people standing in front of it, we had to take a picture of half the painting....

....and then another picture of the other half of the painting!!!

But we made a video of the whole thing!!!

That one reminds me of the Tower of Babel painting by Pieter Bruegel....!

Oh!  There's a customs entry gate here!  I didn't know they had a customs entry gate at the RA!

Do you need a hand??  We're good at bashing stuff!

After a really good look round and a visit to the gift shop (we'll show you later!) we were totally people'd out so we decided to go somewhere else for lunch.....

But first we did some shopping at Fortnums!!  (We'll show you later!)

Then it was off to the bus stop!  Which one are we getting now?

We got on a number 9 bus and gave them a CD!

Where's this going?

We made a video of Piccadilly Circus and then we went down Haymarket!!

And got off at Mayson Doo Canada!!!  Canada lives in there!

It's Trafalgar Square!!

That's the National Gallery over there!!  But we're not going in...

There's Big Ben down there! It's covered in scaffolding at the moment because they're fixing it up.

then we went round the corner and left another one of Arnty Bev's CDs

And then went to lunch!!!

We love Byron Burgers!

We got the drinks in....

And then got a burger and fries!!  YUMMO!

After lunch, we went over the road to the art shop.  Well it would be rude not to!!

After a spot of shopping we went back to the bus stop and left a bookcrossing book on the way!

Hummmm.... the 24 should do us.....

the 24 bus that turned up was rammed solid so we didn't get on.  We walked down to the next bus stop.....

.......and another 24 bus arrived that had loads of space so we got on that one!!!

We gave them a floppy disc....

And then changed seats and left a CD!!!

And then we got off here!

And it was a short walk to the train station!  It's home time!!

And then got on our train home!

We couldn't see the Thames because there was a train in the way!

And we're back!!!

There was a number 7 bus just arriving when we got outside, so we went to get that one!

And got off here!  We popped into Tesco's on the way home to pick up some stuff for dinner....

And we got some of our favourite coffee!

And some lino from the art shop!
