Rhino, Snails, Art and Shopping!!!

We got up really early for a Saturday.  Andrea dragged us out too..... don't know why

Took us up to the bus stop..... are we going somewhere?

Erm, yep...... we got on a number six bus!!!

We got off at Brighton Station and found a Snail!!!

I had a ride on him!!!

He's got a fan on his bum!!!

We had to get our ticket from a machine and then we used the facilities and left a floppy disc!!!

And then we got on our train!!

Where are we going?!?!

We gave them a CD too!!!

And made a video on the way!

Where are we going?!?!

We're going to London!!!  There's the Shard!

And then we got off here!!!

We used the facilities again and left them a floppy disc too!

And then we went to get a bus!

That's St Paul's Cathedral up there but we're not going there.

We got on a bus going the other way, and gave them a CD!

We're off!!!

And we got off here!  It's Trafalgar Square!!

They got a Neon Lion!!!

RAAAAHHHHRRRRRR!!!

And then we found a Rhino!!!
We found out later that today is Rhino Day!!!

We went to see an expedition about Impressionist paintings at the Courtauld (which we passed on the way here!) and we got in for £3 on our art pass!!  It was three rooms of paintings, and they were brill!!!  They had ones in there that aren't on regular display at the Courtauld and we hadn't seen before!!  After we visited the gift shop, we spotted some pretty mosaics on the way out

There's Nelson's Column again...... and it's raining....

We found another Rhino though - that's his bum!!

We got a ride on this one too!!

And then we went here for lunch!!  HURRAH!!

First we got a fizzy drink.......

And then we got a nommy burger with fries!  YUMMMM!!!

After lunch we walked past here...

....and up here..........

....and waited here for a number 6 bus.  20 minutes later, no number 6 had turned up and wasn't going to, so we decided to walk instead!

We went to Piccadilly Circus....

and found some piggies in a shop!!

and then we went down here....

And found some skulls!!!

WE'RE SHOPPING AT FORTNUMS!!!!  YIPPEEEEEE!!

They got chocolate skulls in here!!!

We looked all over the place for some stuff but couldn't find it so we asked for help.  The chap we asked found it all in about 5 seconds!!!  (We'll show you later!)

Then we went and got a bus....

And got off here!!

There was a really big protest over the road about protecting our wildlife - well, we're not doing a good enough job which is why they were protesting!!

Then we walked through here...

To over here to get a number 10 bus.  But because of the really big protest, all the buses were stopping here and not taking any passengers!!!!

So about half an hour later, we got really bored waiting so we decided to get the Underground instead!  Now...... which one do we get off at??

We decided to get this train and it only took us seven stops to get where we wanted.  It was very busy though but we managed to find a seat next to a pole to tie a CD on!

And we got off here!!!

And found our way out to here!!!

Then we walked over to the British Library and left a book in the Courtyard!

And a CD too!!!

Then we went and bought a cayke....

And left a floppy disc in the facilities!

OH!  They got a rhino here too!!!

Then we went to get a train home - there's one in five minutes!  Hurrah!!!

We got a window seat too!  They got a CD as well!

We're crossing Blackfriars Bridge here.  It's proper raining now....

That was a fun day in London!!

And we're heading home now....!

And we're back!  There were loads and loads of football Hoolly Gans at the station so we raced outside to get a bus home.  There was one waiting outside too!  We had to pop into Tesco's to get a pint of milk before going home, and by the time we'd done that, it was really skanky and wet and horrid so we didn't take any more photos!

When we got in, we showed String Beanie and Tango our shopping. We got a book, lots of postcards and a funny pair of socks at the National Gallery

At Fortnums, we got some choccie orange curd and some Biscuits for Arnty Bev and some coffee for us because we'd almost run out.

We also got some posh mustards from the shop next door!  The green jar is mustard with olives and herbes de Provence....

And the orange jar is mustard with peppers, white wine and a touch of espelette chilli.  We think Arnty Vicky might like that but we'll have to ask her and see....

And that's our dinner!!!
It's a Mill Foy Prah Leen.
It's ours.
Nor yours.
