The Vote

A week after we voted, they still couldn't decide who'd won the Big Election!! Apparently, one party is supposed to get 326 to win, and the chap that was in Charge only got 307 or something. The next one got 300 and something else, and the third one got 27.
So the one with 27 had to choose which of the other two he wanted to work with to make a thing called Hung Parliament. Andrea says it doesn't matter which one he chooses because they all need hanging. I don't quite understand that ....!!!
Anyway, the chap that was in charge, Gordon Frown, decided to quit the job, which means the other guy, David Cameron gets to work with the guy that got 27. So they're going to go hang now.
Well, so long as we're all clear about that.....

Beanie Voted!!!

A couple of weeks ago, we had a thing called Election. Andrea says it's because the chap that was in charge wasn't very popular and we get to Vote for someone else!
This is our voting card!

After work, Andrea brought me here!!!
Andrea said that it wasn't allowed to take pictures inside the voting hall but said i could hold the pencil and put a big "X" by the name I liked best.
Like it says in Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, mice run the planet!!!

Afterwards, we walked past these pretty flowers!

And we saw Big Red Tulip!

Gosh! What's this?? Andrea says it might be a resting tower for Pigeons.

We saw a Fruit Growing Topiary too!!!

And we stopped to smell these pretty blossoms too.... my favourite part of today!!

Beanie and the Animals

Andrea took me into work last week, and on the way we saw these dogs driving a van!!!

And on the way home, we met Fluffy Cat!

Fluffy Cat had her picture in this window, so I think this is where she lives.

Tip Of The Week!

Andrea said that she's taking me to London again soon, and she showed me a thing called Oyster Card. Andrea said it's a prepaid travel card specially to use on London buses and subways! It's loaded up with £20 credit, and then when we get on London Bus, there's a round yellow thing near the door (on Subway, the round yellow thing is near the entry barriers) which you touch with the Oyster Card and it goes "BEEP!" Then the card is deducted with the fare. (On Subway when you come out the other end, you have to touch the yellow thing again to open up the exit barriers) On ours, there's an automatic top up thing so when it gets down to £5 credit, it automatically tops up!!!
Isn't that brilliant!!! (You can order these online or purchase them when you arrive in London.... ask at the subway ticket office)
