A letter from Sandy Bear!!!

We got a letter from Sandy Bear today!!!

Hang on - there's no stamp on the envelope!!!  What happened??!

It's a card with a fox on it!

And there's a mouse on it as well!  Hurrah!

They wrote a long letter......

....that went on to a postcard of Paddington at the Tower of London....

.....and then onto another postcard of the 1948 Olympic Games!!!

What fun!!

 

Letters from Afar - South Korea

I got another letter just for ME!!

It's from Arntie Isabelle!  She's in South Korea!

All the cherry blossom flowers are out and she's having a fabulous time!

There's a puzzle in each letter too - in this one, there's seven honey bees hidden in the pictures!

I found them all too!

We got two more stamps as well!  The little one is from the Netherlands and the big one is from Rwanda!  Fun, huh?!

 

Another walk.....

It was really sunny today so we went for a walk..... and lost some more stuff in the process!!!

It's good fun leaving these out!

We put this one on a Magnolia tree!

It still had flowers on it, too!

It's really pretty!  I love this tree!

We left this one here....

And a bit further on, we found some decorated cable boxes!

We put this one next to a tree!

And then found some pretty white flowers!  Don't know what they are though....

This one went on a railing!

And this one went in another tree!

And then this one went in a rose bush..... but there weren't any flowers on it.  Not yet, anyway.

This sparkly one went in a bush!

And then the final one went on a rusty metal gate!

It's nice going for a long walk....!

Went for a walk

We went for a walk after work the other day and lost some more stuff!!!  This one's been claimed already!!

That one looks pretty there.....

Bit of a starburst one that, eh!!

I like leaving these out for people!!

Later, we bumped into Edward the Cat who was out sunbathing!!!  He had a lot of people queuing up to see him!  One lady was chatting with him first, then we had a chat, and then a lady with a little kiddie wanted to say hello, so we stood aside for them.  Then when they left we had ANOTHER chat with Edward, and then a chappie with three kiddies wanted to say hello!!!

So we went round the corner and left this CD here and then went back to see Edward Cat again!!

He's lovely!

We've still got pretty Spring flowers too.....

When we got to the seafront, it was a bit fuggy - we couldn't see Brighton!

And we couldn't see the sea either!!!

And that way, the world ends at the next corner!!  How weird!!

knitting projects.....

We got some new knitting yarn the other day!!!  It's Turkish, 80% cotton!!!

So, now we have two knitting projects on the go.  One is a pair of knitted fingerless mittens with the posh new yarn and the other is a pair of knitted socks with an easy peasy lemon squeezy pattern with some acrylic yarn

 

We got a package too!

We got a package yesterday too!  Wonder what it is.....?

OOOOOOooo!!!  Some books!!!

They're a trade for a book that Andrea sent to someone else..... and they sent us these two....

We got mail!!!

We got a letter yesterday from Canada!

It's for US!!!!  The MICE!!!

Oh wow!!!

Apparently that picture is one of Jerry and Ben's masterpieces.  Sandy Bear loved it so much, they sent it to me as well!!!  They're getting a bit bored with this lockdown lark though.   Got places to go and people to be.
