And then we came home!!!

We got up early today and had breakfast.  Then we took the bowl and tea mug downstairs to the communal kitchen and put them in the dishwashed.  Then we came back upstairs to pack all our stuff up!

It's time to go home now.

We said goodbye to our friend and then scooted off - what a brilliant visit!!

Then we walked down the road to the bus stop....

And got the 176 bus!

It was a very busy bus but we eventually got a window seat and left a tag on the rail!

It's an interesting ride, this one.

With lots of interesting buildings on the way!!

Oh, hang on, this bit looks a bit familiar.....

Elephant and Castle, I believe....

And the Imperial War Museum....

It takes a long time too, it covers quite a distance!

Oh, that's the Hayward Gallery!

And then we crossed the Thames!!

We're going down the Strand now!!

There's the Savoy!

There's Charing Cross Station!

And Trafalgar Square!

And there's the National Gallery!

We went past Chinatown.

There's that big theatre......!

And Foyles bookshop!!

And we finally reached the end of the route here!!!

...outside the Museum of Illusion!  Now I didn't know about this museum!

Then we walked down to Trafalgar Square and found the right bus stop

And got on the number 73, the last bus of our trip!

They got a tag, too!

There's Euston Station!!!  Nearly there....

Here we are!  Outside the British Library!!

Just a short walk to St Pancras Station

There was HUGE crowds at the Eurostar check in place, took a while to wind our way through!!

But we finally reached our platform, and the Brighton train was THERE WAITING FOR US!!!!!
We got on with two minutes to go before it left!!!  How's that for good timing!!!

We went through Blackfriars Station.

And then off towards London Bridge....

And finally went over the Balcombe viaduct!!

And arrived home all in one piece!!

We got our bus back towards home, got off here and then strolled home!
What fun!!
