That's the old West Pier built in 1866. It was shut in 1975, had a partial collapse in 2002, another collapse in 2003, and two fires in 2003 the second of which completely destroyed it. A bit storm in 2004 made the middle bit collapse into the sea and then last year there was another big storm which made all but the end skeleton part fall down.
